The PHO soup w/chicken is sublime.
Simple to the point menu.
The Fresh Spring Rolls were exactly that: FRESH.
The place is chill, the owner accommodating and very friendly.
Homemade delicious peanut sauce.
Cannot wait to return.

Very small place, with limited hours, but i would highly recommend this place. Im a stickler with food. We eat a lot of pho and I will say this place is probably top 3 out of all the pho we’ve been too. Tons of flavor, prices were pretty normal, service was excellent. The biggest spring rolls I ever saw. Everything was prefect!!!

I think this is the second best pho I’ve had in all my travels. You don’t need to add anymore sauces, but if you need extra spice, there is always chili sauce. This is a hole in the wall/ mom and pops operation. Everything in my pho was made to perfection. I had the ribeye and brisket pho with noddle, chives, onions, cilantro, sprouts and jalapeños. Now, you would have to wait a little for your order, because it’s made fresh. there is small to medium size seating area. They are opened from 11 am to 3.30 pm. They close…. then reopen for dinner at 5pm. It is so easy to miss the entrance. It is just before El Jobean road in 41 in Port Charlotte.

I stopped in on a cold day really craving pho soup with grilled chicken. I saw they offered grilled chicken in the vermicelli dish, so I politely asked if they could substitute it for the boiled chicken in the pho. The waiter simply said, “No, it’s not served that way.” I’ve ordered it that way up north many times without any problem, so that response was disappointing.
Next, I asked if they had iced tea. He said they only had unsweetened, and when I mentioned I preferred sweet tea, he just shrugged. I settled for water, but later noticed they had honey — he could’ve at least offered that as an option.
I ended up ordering the vermicelli, thinking it was a soup, but it wasn’t. The service overall felt indifferent, like they just didn’t care. Then, to make matters worse, the couple next to us ordered chicken pho and were told there was no more chicken left — and they had only been open for dinner for about an hour!
It’s disappointing to see such poor customer service and lack of flexibility. A happy customer is a returning customer, but unfortunately, I won’t be one. I will never come back here again.

SO DELIGHTFUL, I’m telling you this is the best pho I have ever had. I’ve been to many places (born and raised Californian) and this is by far the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten

5 stars for the food. 4 stars for the service. Very authentic, tasty, clean, and almost as good as Vietnamese food in San Jose/Nor Cal. The vermicelli and pho are our favorites. I have concerns about the waiter /owner who is sometimes friendly and sometimes not? We hope he’s happy and stay healthy to operate this gem of a restaurant.

So happy to have found this very welcoming restaurant. Very fresh and flavor Pho, Spring Rolls and oh so tasty grilled pork chops and rice. House special fried rice is outstanding. Very clean, fresh ingredients, homemade taste. Generous portions at very fair prices. We dine here at least twice a week!

Good location, close to El Jobean & US 41. Restaurant is family operated. It’s clean and organized. Menu is simple, however, very authentic Vietnamese cuisine. My husband and I, we ordered a Phở Tái (rare eye round beef noodle soup) and a spicy beef and pork noodle soup. Both were very delicious, especially, the spicy beef and pork noodles. The broth was perfect taste for me, very authentic. Be careful if you can’t eat too spicy, you can always request for a mild taste (less spicy), I think. My husband gave a thumb up for his Pho. He said the soup was good without too much of cinnamon, very tasty and the beef was tendered.
Service was fast and friendly. The server was frequently checked for water refill.
We’ll definitely come back to try different dishes soon.
FYI, restaurant is closed on Sunday & Monday
