We really wanted to like this place. Our food was not good at all. My husband ordered soup, which ended up being hot milk, and I ordered the salmon with lemon risotto. The risotto was a flavorless greasy blob… my daughter ordered Caesar salad with salmon and she enjoyed that, but the portion of salmon could be larger for the $14 up charge. Our server was wonderful, and they took our drinks and soup of our ticket, but unfortunately that just wasn’t enough after waiting for a long time to leave still hungry ☹️

We absolutely love Bigfork Wine & Whiskey! Every visit has been outstanding. The steaks are cooked to perfection, the risotto is rich and delicious, and the entire menu feels thoughtfully crafted. Their wine and cocktail selection is impressive, with something for every taste, and the staff always does a great job helping with recommendations. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a nice dinner out. Great food, great service, and great drinks — we look forward to coming back every time we’re in Bigfork.

Kind of gimmicky western modern atmosphere, but comfy bar stools. Whiskey bar, a lot of selection but nothing really unique, but not a wine bar. Not very many wines by the glass, none that are unique or exceptional and they open reds and use the next day, at least I hope only the next day. Server didn’t seem to be excited about any of the wines except her favorite was a California blend …yawn. We didn’t eat there.

I was really excited to try this place but was so disappointed. We went on a Monday in the summer and they had a very limited menu. It had 8 items and 3 were desserts so very very limited. The fries appetizer was good. I ordered the salad for $17 and received a tiny side salad. I won’t be coming back. The quality and quantity to price is not worth it.

This is our second time eating here and we were not disappointed, we sat at the bar and had excellent service by due to young ladies. I had the beef tenderloin and my wife had a chicken something. Both were cooked to perfection and plenty of flavor. The Basil Hayden margaritas were excellent. Will become a regular hope they’re open this winter 🙂

5⭐️!! Oh my gosh did we have a fabulous dinner! Kudos to Chef Dan. We had the burrata for appetizer, Caesar salad, salmon and steak dinner. Even dessert was amazing! Apple pie. Top notch! I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and our air bnb guests.
We gave 4 stars on atmosphere primarily due to back slot machines making it feel a little “cheaply”. We loves sitting at the round table with cozy chairs. Wish there were more of those type tables instead of high tops which aren’t as comfortable.
Service was excellent. Look forward to returning soon!

New Chef! Chef Dan is hardworking and passionate about food & Bigfork. Food is still elevated with a western touch. Beautifully designed space. The best drinks in town! Long wine and whiskey list. Our go-to place in Bigfork for a yummy salad, apps & cocktails, GREAT filet and many wine varieties to enjoy on the large patio or purchase to-go.

As for restaurants go, there are a few hits and misses in downtown bigfork, but this is a great place. I didn’t think this place was open yet but when we drove by and saw it was officially open we just HAD to try! It’s a small restaurant but full of character and great tasting food. Love the vibe. Big windows to view the cute downtown area. It reminds me of the little restaurants we’d go to in Lake Tahoe. Everything we ordered was great. We ordered the chop salad, a side of the salt and vinegar chips, and the smashburger. I’d recommend all of it. I’d go back just for that chop salad again. Of course we had to try some whiskey, highly recommend. I didn’t get a chance to try a glass of wine but that just gives me a reason to go back again soon.

So proud of this hard working team! Delicious food by Chef Aaron. Extensive, and growing, wine list. Great cocktails and cozy/clean/elevated environment. The new spot in town that’s sure to get even better with time

Was insulted by the manager because I was asking prices for the bourbon which was not on the menu. I ask them multiple times due to the top shelf bourbons we not on the menu, she grew tired and said that one is expensive to if your on a Budget with an attitude. I am a bourbon connoisseur with more bottles than they have. Most of their bourbon is way over priced for a 1.5 oz pour. Our waitress Abby was awesome and she did get rewarded. The food was decent but I think small for the price. I will never go back due to the disrespect from a manager. She should be fired. No customer should ever be treated as so. . I had ordered the fillet it was good but small. But the overall atmosphere is good their. Very clean and neat
