I was excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews, but sadly it didn’t live up to the hype. The Chicken Masala was extremely sweet—almost impossible to eat—and the lamb curry my friend ordered had barely any flavor. Really disappointing overall. I wanted to give a higher rating, but there just wasn’t anything that stood out in a good way. Won’t be ordering again.

We just ordered the butter chicken and the lamb vindaloo. We can’t complain about the dishes they were nice. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the naan/garlic naan which was was slightly undercooked and lacked garlic flavour.

Amazing little place in Noord Rotterdam. Family run business with a home cooked food feeling. The flavours are rich and quite authentic. They have a huge variety of appetizers and mains in vegetarian, chicken and lamb. The portions are really good for reasonable prices. We had the Lamb and Chicken curries and were amazing. The naans we’re huge. Finished off with traditional Indian chai which had all the right flavours and spicy. Overall very satisfied to have found an authentic Indian restaurant.

I got really excited to see the rating and the reviews and I really wanted to give a better rating but unfortunately there was no redeeming factor as the food was so disappointing. The Chicken Masala was waaaaay too sweet, it was almost inedible. The lamb curry (not sure what it’s called on the menu) that my friend ordered didn’t really have any taste at all. Won’t be getting food again.

As a vegetarian, I ordered the Bombay Potatoes, which were listed in the “vegetarische gerechten” category. However, instead of potatoes, my dish consisted of chicken thigh fillet, so I couldn’t eat it. As the rice was really tasty, it was even more disappointing that I had nothing to eat it with. I probably won’t be ordering here again.

Bad experience. Lamb kebabs were bland in taste. The chicken biryani is served with thigh chicken pieces. And likewise with the Chicken Madras, even though the menu states otherwise. The daal was the only thing that saved this order. But still wouldnt order from here again. The taste is not as close to authentic.

Takeaway was delivered within 40 mins, very happy with the quality of curry. Perfectly cooked chicken in the Karahi and supper tasty at that. Very good selection of veggie curries also. Will save as one of my favourite Indian takeaways in Rotterdam.
