The spouse wanted miso soup to accompany a sandwich from a neighboring biz as that did not sell it.

The crammed little takeout spot is in the row of shops outside of Walmart & Sam’s Club.

Different styles of musubi, rice balls, bento, rice bowl dishes and miso soup!
FOOD:
Miso Soup
They sold just one size, a small cup for just over $2. It came loaded with seaweed, tofu and green onions. The report back was “really good”.
SERVICE:
Counter service was welcoming and professional.

It took 25 minutes to get musubi takeout *after* I placed my order, which is unreasonably long. It is because the clerk was inefficient, confused my order with orders of other people who came far later than me. They need to make their system more efficient or educate their employees better.

Was expecting some flavor in the rice but turns out it was actually plain Japanese rice – or at least that’s what I experienced. Perhaps it was on purpose to reduce the saltiness from spam.
Otherwise the onigiri is also worth trying.

Great place for lunch. Friendly and quick service. Musubis were great (spam and seaweed). Great tasting and very filling. 4 stars because of the fried chicken and tempura. They were soggy and tasted like they were sitting around for awhile. Stick with musubi and you should be good.

The spam musubi is a different type of spam than the typical spam you get at the supermarket- a little fattier, similar to corned beef. still super tasty!! But as a preference I like the typical spam more. On the other hand, the triangle rice I got was AMAZING. The salmon was super flavourful and salty, and was pretty filled up on the inside!! Overall really good and you should try if you have the chance.

Been getting musubi and bentos from this chain since Kapahulu days and normally always pretty happy with the experience. Thus most recent time at the Keeamoku location was pretty disappointing. Cashier rang me up wrong several times, order was incorrect after that, and the rice in my musubi was mushy and the chicken on the side was cold like out of the fridge. Hopefully just a bad day for them.
