I just moved here from Illinois 3 months ago. They used to have Caribou Coffee but, most of the stores closed a while back in Illinois.

I always enjoy the atmosphere at Caribou!
The latte wasn’t correct (hot and ordered less hot). Their coffee is certainly good quality, but they’re pricing themselves out of the market. 2 drinks for $15???
Starbucks is several dollars less and the new 7 Brew in Waukee can’t be beat for overall quality and price.
I’m probably retiring Caribou from our coffee roster for this area.

I come here often. The servers are great and it’s a welcoming place to sit and enjoy coffee while reading.
I however feel that the Caribou policy of charging extra for nondairy unless you order from the app and this store doesn’t have app ordering quite ridiculous. Starbucks is right across the street and they no longer charge extra for nondairy.

Staff is always very friendly, but for whatever reason, the pumpkin flavoring at this location tastes like dirt. Tried a pumpkin crafted press today and it was gross.

My coffee was WAYYY too SWEET. It literally tasted like drinking syrup. Idk how many pumps you guys use but you seriously need to reduce it some. It kinda annoys me when you spend $6+ on coffee and can barely get through half because of how much sugar you guys put in it.

There are currently three other coffee establishments within blocks of this Caribou location. You can see one as you are in the drive through. I am a loyal customer at this specific location because of the fabulous staff. Shelby and her entire staff are amazing.
Their customer service is top tier and they call me and my puppy by name. They even have a dog treat ready as I pickup my order. I can’t compliment this Waukee Caribou enough. My family is always greeted with a smile. They keep the hot things hot and my cold selections cold.
They are a five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My experiences over the last three years had been very good, especially since Shelby Johnson took over as manager, with the amazing help of Cole Berger, Anna O’Tool, Stephen, Olivia, Anna, the list goes on and on. Coffee used to be way better than Starbucks. But lately. Every time I order my coffee. It’s hot chocolate. There is no taste of coffee. I ask for 3 shots of expresso and still tastes like hot chocolate. With a bucket of sugar on top.
