We came here by accident, because another restaurant/coffee place had no seating. We ordered some cocktails that were really good. The food was great. We ordered a BLT and a pesto chicken on ciabatta bread. Everything was outstanding !

Everything you want in a coffee shop, starting with FANTASTIC coffee. At Haven, they take their roasting seriously! Add a wonderful atmosphere, a personable team, excellent service, and VOILA! For lagniappe, they support community causes, which always gets huge marks in my book. My husband is obsessed and can’t get enough. It’s our go-to place to meet up with friends, too. We should own stock!

My husband and I really enjoyed our times at Haven, and fell in love with the shrimp and grits. The first time we ordered shrimp and grits, everything was great and delicious. This morning however, thirty minutes went by without receiving our dish. After asking about the wait, we finally received the shrimp and grits. We were very disappointed when seeing the plate, because it looked slapped together, bread was hardly toasted if even, and even the tomato’s weren’t roasted like they should’ve been. When showing the picture comparisons to a barista, we were given excuses claiming that sometimes it just gets busy, and that the picture didn’t look that bad. The food still tasted delicious, just very disappointed with the service and lack of empathy. (The kitchen manager was more understanding and helpful than who we first spoke to).

Great coffee shop with a cozy vibe located in a good area.
There is plenty of in and outdoor seating and parking was painless. Service was quick and the food was way better than your typical coffe house. They have an onsite roaster so I grabbed a bag of beans as Ive heard good things about Northshoere Specialty Coffee from a lot of coffee snobs.
Will definitely make another trip and stop by when Im in the area

I tried this place for the first time recently and I love it. The interior is so cozy and modern. I ordered eggs Benedict and a chai latte. I have been back two more times since because I loved that dish and drink so much.

This is a tough review.
I really liked this place. The coffee, the food, and the service were excellent.
My issue was the cocktails. They have cocktails on tap. Most cocktails should be shaken, blended, or stirred. These were just poured into a into a glass.
Would I visit again, yes. Mainly for a coffee and a meal. I would not go back for cocktails.

I’d like to write a great review because this place is honestly a great spot. However, my personal encounter with the service here was bad. I ordered a regular drip coffee, and was told I was “lucky” because it was the last of the batch that had been “sitting all day”. Okay… I’m not a coffee snob though so no problem.
I went back for a refill and was told I couldn’t get one because they were out.
They gave the option of ordering an Americano.
Got my Americano, finished it, went back and asked if I could have a refill of drip coffee instead.
I was told no, they were still out of drip coffee and were not going to brew any more. I asked if I could get another Americano for a discount.
I was told no, which is fair, but then staff smirked and sarcastically said “would you like a cup of hot water or something instead”
To me this was entirely unprofessional and unnecessary. I also find it odd that a coffee place doesn’t keep fresh coffee brewed and ready to go… anyway, cool place, but I don’t understand why the staff feels they need to be rude.
