I have played music there. Got filmed for a television show there. I have eaten there and always do whenever I get there. The food, live music, and friendly atmosphere are worth the drive. Try to meet Dr. Lou in person. Very great guy! Buffalo Chicken Pizza is calling me… it’s so good…. Maybe I’ll see you there sometime. If you meet Dr. Lou tell him Frank Porter sent you.

This place may look bad but don’t be fooled. The bartender was amazing. He really took care of our group of 8. Our glasses didn’t go empty until we left. The food is phenomenal, not something you expect at a bar. Great chicken wings, burgers looked handmade, and the philly steak was awesome not too greasy and no gristle.

A dive at best. I like dives though. The employees change a little to often, so service varies greatly. Food is great most days. Atmosphere is a dead bar most days, while almost randomly getting busy others. Live music on occasion, moderately price drinks, beer pong Monday nights, karaoke Wednesday. I will return again.

Small, dark, rundown bar. The good news is… the chicken wings are delicious, it’s 30 seconds from the Riverline, the bathrooms are clean, the Roebling Museum is across the street, and the staff is friendly. Dr. Lou’s is West Virginia’s cousin, but cool and down to earth.

I had the privlidge of going to DrLous Place Friday night for the first time and I have to say this Place truely rocks….. The music that is perfomed here was out of this world, not to mention the food I ate will keep me coming back for more and more…. Got the pleasure of meeting the cook, friendly and a female what a treat that was, Food came out hot and within mins…. the bartender tony( I know his name cause he introduced his self very rare) was on top of drinks and treated me and my party with respect…. This place will not go un noticed and if you have the chance to stop by on a friday or sat night I would so do so….. The Dr has spoken through music and food….. Ultimintly the best wings ever crunchy and secret sauce was out standing…..
