Enjoyed my food and the two girls who were working were very kind! I had spring rolls for my appetizer, crab fried rice w/ shrimp mild spicy, mango w/ sticky rice, and thai iced tea. All were very
delicious! I will be back.

Delicious, savory, just overall an amazing dining experience. I had the Thai Fried Rice and the portion was very large I could have easily split this between two people. The service was amazing the environment was nice I think I’m going to return every time I’m in town. I will say I did not like the Thai tea though, it was very chemically and now I have a terrible headache so I will not be ordering that again. But overall I highly recommend this place and I’ll definitely be returning.

This was my second time here but my first time dining in. I’m so glad I decided to dine in. We walked in and were greeted with warm smiles. The atmosphere was nice and it was clean. They were very friendly and took our order in a timely fashion. We had spring rolls to start and they were very fresh. Then I got the eggplant entree with chicken which was delicious. The pineapple rice was bursting with flavor in every bite. I wish I could describe the flavors but you’ll have to try it to know. For dessert we had mango sticky rice and that is what made me love this place the first time I had it. I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Thai food is in my top cuisine of choice & I’ve eaten at many different Thai restaurants over the years, but I have to say this place ranks high on that list.
The food was so flavorful, textures were perfect and I can tell everything was made with love!

Thank you & *chefs kiss* to the cook! I will definitely be back, soon.

For my 1st visit here, it was really enjoyable. We got the curry Puffs, Eggplant w/ chicken & the Pad Thai Goong Hor Kai. Everything was delicious. Plenty of flavor and spice to satisfy any level desired. Ruth our waitress was very attentive & sweet.
We will return to explore more of the menu in the future.

New Thai Spot in Baytown
Just opened a month ago!

If you’re into trying something a little different, this place is worth checking out. It’s Thai food, but not your typical hole-in-the-wall style — the flavors are milder and seem catered to those who prefer less heat and a more subtle spice profile.

The food is tasty, no doubt about that. However, the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price. That said, the quality was there, and it’s definitely a fresh take on Thai cuisine.

Overall, I’d give it an 8/10. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially if I’m in the Baytown area. Worth a visit if you’re looking for a new twist on Thai food.

The service here was truly excellent–everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the staff members even brought us a complimentary glass of logan tea to try. It had a sweet tea vibe but was lighter and more refreshing–definitely worth trying if you’re curious!

My husband and I ordered two lunch specials: Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) and another variation of Pad Se Eew, both served with soup and an egg roll (which tasted more like a crispy Chinese spring roll). I especially enjoyed the soup–it had a flavorful balance of spice and sourness that was surprisingly good.

As for the Pad Kee Mao, it was fine but not the best I’ve had. The noodles were slightly overcooked and clumped together, and it was missing tomatoes, which were listed on the menu and are something I personally associate with this dish. It also wasn’t spicy at all. Instead, they offer a basket of condiments–chili oil, dry red pepper flakes, sriracha-like sauce, and some kind of soy-based sauce–to let you adjust the spice to your liking. While I appreciate the flexibility, I believe cooking the spice into the dish would’ve brought out more depth, aroma and flavor.

The biggest downside, unfortunately, was the smell upon entering the restaurant. It had a unpleasant odor, almost like a plumbing issue. I’m not sure if it was specific to the restaurant or something coming from the neighboring businesses in the strip center, but it was noticeable. Thankfully, when the food arrived, the aroma from the food helped mask it.

All in all, I’d give the service 5 stars and the food 3.5 stars. It’s a solid, casual spot with great staff, and with a little more attention to consistency and ambiance, it could easily become a go-to.

Ice was our waitress and she provided excellent service. When I asked her for an extra cup of water she troubleshooted the situation by asking ” is the tea too sweet?” I loved the initiative she took to seek a solution for us.

Now for the food. Everything we ordered was delicious. I had sinus issues from the change of weather, ordered the Tom Yim Goong soup with a spice level of 2. That cleared me right on up and wasn’t too spicy. The Thai fried rice is got a spice level of 2 and it was delicious. My partner love the Pad Kee Mao.

As the local Baytown Realtor®, I am so happy that my friend left Nara Thai to open her own place! She always wanted to increase the quality of the food and she did. Fresh and local ingredients. Be sure to get the Mango Sticky Rice made with fresh mangos when they are in season.

I live in Houston and have tried many different Thai restaurants. This one is hands down one of the best I have ever had. The Pad Kee Mao here is absolutely delicious! True definition of flavor in every bite. Every single time that I’m in town. I will make a stop here!
