All the food was fresh and delicious and the smoothies were as well.
Looking at the hotline with all the choices and we would definitely be coming back some more.
Chicken soup served in a dipping container! I feel punked! Then they hang up on you. Never again, not worth it.
I decided to give them another chance and brought my husband this time. More customers for them, right? Big mistake. Once again, we were treated like we were a problem as soon as we started ordering. While she was plating our food, the person doing our lunches disappeared for a good 10 minutes with our plates in hand (my husband only has a 30-minute lunch break).
When the total came out, it was about $33 for two lunch plates (no drinks) clearly listed at $12.99 each on the menu, my husband politely questioned it. The worker didn’t seem to understand, so he asked again. Still nothing, so I tried helping, speaking some spanish and pointing at the menu. Only then did she finally say, “no, no, this is price,” and charged the card. No apology, no acknowledgment. I even told her she should tell her owner to update the menu, loud enough for the owner (who had just walked by) to hear. She just nodded and smiled like nothing was wrong. Honestly, it makes me wonder if those inflated prices are only for certain people. ♀️ Sorry, not sorry.
But THEN! the kicker! My order was wrong! I had to drive back. Again. With zero accountability. Same lady when I was in, she tell me me it was “grilled chicken,” as if that’s what I asked for. I explained I wanted the bone-in chicken . She didn’t understand again, so we walked over to the buffet setup so she could point. She went to the back, pulled out what was messed up (probably threw it in the trash), and handed me my original order in a bag. By the time I got it back, my food was ice cold. The only thing warm was the chicken she had just put in from the warmer.
And the craziest part? She herself had pointed to the bone-in chicken when I ordered, I confirmed “yes, that one,” and I still got grilled chicken with onions.
What really flabbergasts me is the lack of communication. The staff clearly can’t understand or explain anything, and yet the owner — who is clearly capable of speaking English — lets it happen in her tiny restaurant. Meanwhile, no one offers an apology or even a simple acknowledgment. Just nods, smiles, and charges the card. All in all, try at your own risk lol
