The Turkey Havarti Croissant was one of the best sandwiches I have ever have. The ingredients, the warm (cheese)/cold (jam) and the seasoning all paired so well together. No notes, perfection. Not to mention the other croissants and coffee was fantastic as well. Service was amazing. 11/10 place.

My Wife and I ride our bicycles, everywhere, to try new places for special flavors.
We stopped in at The Flying Roadrunner, on a Sunday morning, and WOW ! we’re we glad. I have to give them the award for Best Croissant in the State of New Mexico. We have tried places all over the State, but The Flying Roadrunner is the BEST. Even better than the French bakery on the harbor in South Carolina ( which has been unrivaled for the past 8 years until now.)
Now we don’t have to travel to South Carolina. Also, Le Bakery, in Albuquerque, is absolutely superbe.

I tried the ginger latte and it was the smoothest most delicious latte I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his coffee, which is rare, and he had a chocolate croissant muffin pastry which was delicious! Great hangout space, outlets, and you can enter from the street or the courtyard. Highly recommend, and the barrista/cashier were lovely and prompt.

Might be the one of the best cinnamon rolls that i have had. Very good. Was able to get the next to last one before their closing time. I picked it to take home.

A lovely little spot in Old Town! I got an almond croissant and a matcha latte. That almond croissant was EXCELLENT! Crispy outside, fluffy layers, and an absolutely delicious almond cream. I was so happy and satisfied. It’s lacking a bit in seating, but if the weather is good, I’m sure it’s nice to find a spot to sit outside in Old Town.

This is definitely one of the best little gems in old town. Today I went in for a croissant but also got the Turkey harvarti cheese sandwich to have for lunch later and it was pure magic. It was SO delicious & had the right ratio of flavors. My photo does not do it justice but just know it was AMAZING. Hanging out with the turkey & cheese was some arugula or dark greens with maybe a Dijon mustard of some sort. But then there was a sweet jam inside. Mmmm!!
Also, this place has the BEST croissants in New Mexico.
Just make sure you go when they are open (check the hours).

It has a beautiful rustic charm! Service was fantastic! We each had a cinnamon roll and a brioche bun. They were beyond amazing! The cinnamon rolls were perfect. The dough was perfect the icing it was not overly sweet. It’s the best one I’ve ever had. The brioche with sugar sprinkled on top. I never had anything like that so I wanted to try it. It was unbelievable. The dough was perfect. It wasn’t too chewy. It was baked perfectly in the sprinkle of the sugar on top was amazing! I didn’t try their coffee because I had too much breakfast, but I will next time!

Today I took advantage of a Yelp Elite experience in the Old Town Plaza, at the Flying Roadrunner Bakery, a cozy and charming local bakery with a colorful display of pastries and cakes. I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did!
The staff was very friendly and attentive, greeting me with a warm smile and taking my order promptly. I chose a gourmet chai cream filled croissant and a fresh made chai latte with a light sprinkle of cinnamon. The croissant was flaky and buttery, with a generous amount of creamy filling that had a subtle spice and sweetness. The latte was smooth and frothy, with a perfect balance of tea and milk flavors. It was a heavenly combination that satisfied my taste buds and warmed my soul.
The bakery had a nice ambiance, with a pleasant aroma of baked goods filling the air. The decor was simple but elegant, with wooden tables and chairs, colorful cushions, and some local artwork on the walls. It felt like a home away from home, where I could relax and enjoy my delicious treats.
I highly recommend Flying Roadrunner Bakery to anyone who loves fresh and quality baked goods, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. It’s one of the best bakeries in Albuquerque, and I can’t wait to go back and try more of their amazing creations!
