I’d seen this place while driving West on Capitol Drive many times. We decided to try it on 1.4.26. I’m happy we did. I called to order and the young lady taking my order was pleasant and professional. She told me my food would be ready in 10 minutes and when I arrived it was ready. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was inviting as well. When I got home to eat my food, (we had the combo curry chicken and oxtails and curry chicken and goat along with 2 beef patties.) The food was delicious! The portion sizes were large (I eat a lot and I actually had food left over lol). The prices were expensive but again, the portion sizes were large. I have two suggestions: order more plantains–they were out when I ordered. The other suggestion is to have chicken “patties” as well as beef patties. We will be ordering again in the future.

This was my first experience here . The egg roll was amazing love the sweet and sour sauce as well. I also got the oxtail dinner with rice and cabbage now the food was delicious but I have to say for a total of 38.00 for oxtail dinner and one egg roll I at least was expecting a decent amount of gravy . I barely had any , and I thought I would of gotten least one or two more oxtails again the food was gd but to me if those things get fixed then everything would of been perfect atmosphere was great during pick up btw

The food was horrible.. just ridiculous and disgusting. I paid $40 for garbage and an upset stomach. Omgoodness. Never again. The food barely has any taste and the rice/ beans were dry and old. The oxtails barely had any seasoning or flavor..

They have great service. They are very attentive and very polite. Very good staff. They are efficient in getting food out. This food is just okay. The curry chicken meat was faintly pink. I prefer my meet well well done and then cook down in a stew or curry. I ordered fish but they gave me the wrong food so I didn’t get a chance to taste it but the curry is okay. Not special but just okay

Lady was rude as hell and continued to eat while people were lining up to order. After a 4th person walked in she finally got up and took our orders. Already started out bad. Been really wanting to try them. This is our third time coming but never got to try them because they’d be closed or having a party. Finally got our food and it wasn’t bad. Everyone I talked to hyped this place up. The egg rolls are the BEST dipped in that sauce, omg perfection. Everything else was just okay. I expected a lot more flavor, rice was kinda bland. Jerk chicken wasn’t much flavor either. I’d go back for the rolls. It is like almost 9 bucks but it’s a big boy and tasty lol!

The largest & best jerk chicken eggrolls EVER! Their cabbage could have a little bit more spices/flavor, but still quite good, jerk chicken is really good, beef stew chicken is really good; they should offer more specials; their new(est) location is really nice & clean, & the service is friendly, could be more friendly & more professional, & the wait time is not long & I love that! Mom feel very ill. Don’t know if they’ve changed cooks or ownership but they have definitely lost a customer. Wasted money twice . In the current economy eating out is a treat so I won’t be wasting any more money on this place.

Man, true hidden damn gem! Mind you, when it comes to my food I am very SELECTIVE. If I don’t wanna live in the hood I’m not eating in the hood. Judge me, I don’t care. However, I mess with them tough now. Most Milwaukee folks flock towards those big name restaurants like “Uppa Yard and PepperPot” however I’m saying now they got them beat. I ordered takeout because I had to study, from the time the food was ordered and it got to me it was super quick. The food was still hot and fresh, which is a major plus. The cabbage was cooked perfectly, the meat was cooked to the perfect temperature and was juicy as hell. Packed with flavor, and the jerk sauce was a HIT! Long story short, give them a try.
