My cousin told me about this small little hole in the wall cafe. I had been past it several times not even knowing it was there. I was very impressed. All of the food is home made. Desserts are marvelous. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Large variety of food to choose from and most reasonably le prices. Wow, can’t say enough. Will continue to frequent. Wow.

We ordered a carrot cake for my son’s birthday; we wanted happy birthday written in black and red. What we got was a carrot cake with chocolate icing and happy birthday spelled out with candy. When I tried to discuss that this is not what we ordered they ignored me until I sent another message; they offered to give me my money back so I sent my address.
“ GOOD AFTERNOON , THIS IS SUMMIT CAFE AND BAKERY , WE WERE TRYING TO ACCOMODATE THE TWO COLORS YOU WANTED WHICH WAS BLACK AND RED ,IT WAS CREAM CHEESE ICING COLORED WITH COCOA , BOTTOM LINE IF YOU WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THE CAKE , WE WILL BE GLAD TO REFUNO YOUR MONEY , Send us your address and we will send you your money back or you come by to get your refund within in the next thirty days from this text . Sorry for any inconvenience , you have a great evening ! Thank you for your business !” I gave them my address and this was their response
“ That was not specified , you said you wanted red and black icing you did not specify the decorations to be those colors , i dont appreciate your disrespectful attitude . Iam not obligated to refund you anything . ” I was not rude I just gave them my address.
I have never ever had i carrot cake with chocolate icing and it was horrible. I have not received a refund or any more correspondence from the bakery. Thumbs down for customer service, decorations and flavors
