Curiosity Cafe in Jim Thorpe is such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming vibe instantly made us feel at home. It’s the kind of spot where you can slow down, sip your coffee, and just enjoy the charm of the town.
The coffee was absolutely on point — rich, smooth, and made with care. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The food was just as impressive. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite before exploring town or settling in for a relaxed brunch, this place delivers.

Cute spot with a cozy vibe. We tried the macchiato, mocha, and matcha — all were okay but tasted a bit thin and watery for our liking. The cookies, however, were really good! The highlight was definitely the server — she was amazing, super friendly, and made the visit enjoyable. Service gets a full 10/10.

Such a cool place to visit ! Their drinks are phenomenal here and sweet treats are so affordable. The vibe is immaculate in here, and the server that helped us was incredibly helpful and personable. They also sell honey which i was very excited about I purchased the honey with lavender and it is so delicious. While here I ordered the blueberry matcha and mocha frappe. If you like the movie Alice in Wonderland you’ll love it here

The prices are quite reasonable for a tourist spot. The restaurant has such a cute atmosphere with an Alice in Wonderland theme. They also serve food really fast . I didn’t have to wait long at all!

I remember we were here in October 2023 and it was our first visit to Jim Thorpe, we ordered for an ice cream(lavender lemon) loved that flavor so much it was unique and delicious and my husband said he had the best latte ever. So we visited Jim Thorpe today in October 2025 and straight away ordered 3 lattes and trust me it was Ah-amazingly good We will always go back to this cute, lovely and cozy cafe for a treat ☕️ Oh we had their triple chocolate muffin too and it was delicious, the sweetness was apt!

Been here twice, once on a busy weekend and second on a weekday. The previous day we got affocado which was good, but the second day we ordered two mocha lattes. When we got them, there was absolutely no coffee at all, they just tasted like hot chocolate. At first, I thought it was just mine, but my partner’s didn’t have any coffee as well. I brought it up and the girl there said there were 2 shots of espresso in each. I pressed a little further, but she insisted there was coffee in our drinks. I gave up and just drank the rest of my hot chocolate, but I’m honestly disappointed. I really needed some coffee and now I’ll have to get some more somewhere else 🙁 the vibe is cool though

The coffee was flavorful, and the attendant was incredibly sweet—offering everyone a smile, kind wishes, and honest recommendations about the different flavors. The Mauch Chunk blend was on the pricier side, even for a tourist spot, but it’s a treat-worthy coffee. I’m giving the full five stars thanks to the wonderful service that made the visit feel so genuine and welcoming.

The atmosphere of this cafe absolutely gives Alice in Wonderland. It’s definitely an inspiration for the aesthetic!!
I have only given three stars as I was not impressed by the AI generated artwork that was framed on every wall.
I feel that supporting artists who give the vibes the cafe owners are seeking would be a positive alternative as opposed to AI generated artwork.
I hope to visit again in the future!

We had such an amazing experience at Curiosities Coffee and Ice House, and a huge part of that was Danielle. She took incredible care of us from start to finish — genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell she truly loves what she does.
Service like hers makes all the difference and turns a simple coffee stop into a memorable experience. Danielle is an absolute gem and the reason we’ll be coming back. Best service, hands down!
