Our family has been customers at Rick’s Custom Meats for nearly 20 years, buying everything from Thanksgiving turkeys to blueberry sausages and boiled peanuts.
Now Rick’s son Logan has opened this quaint coffee bar inside the store, with a full menu of coffee drinks with his own proprietary Wagon Wheel beans — and lots of fun offerings.
You can get your straight up espresso and americano, but he has a playful menu of flavored drinks that keep you coming back. I put myself in his hands and let him choose. He made me a L’eggo My Espresso, with a chocolate and syrup drizzled waffle on to with whipped cream. “It’s my favorite drink.
Lots of options on the menu, including making it a float. Tip jar proceeds change each week to a different charity. (This week, it was for A Kid’s Place,) On Fridays, he does deals for teachers to reward them for making it through another week at school.
Even better than the coffee is the conversation. You feel like you’re getting coffee with a friend. That warmth runs in the family.
There aren’t many coffee bars inside a butcher shop. This feels like it has always been there.
I predict that in short order Logan will become the Coffee King of Lithia. I’ll drink to that!

Really neat place! Love the way their menu is set up, makes it easy for non-fancy coffee drinkers, while also being excellent coffee!

Sitting here drinking my coffee thinking it’s the best coffee I’ve bought in such a long time! We love going to Ricks and when I found out there’s a coffee bar in the back now I couldn’t be happier. Yummy food for my husband, yummy coffee for me! Such a win win. I would recommend this cute local place to anyone. I love how it feels like a small town store. They had a bigger menu and selection than I anticipated, which was great! All of the specialty coffee options sounded delicious, it was hard to pick. (: The owner was incredibly kind and made sure my coffee was just what I wanted. It’s perfect! I definitely can’t wait to go back for lunch from the deli and more coffee from Wagon Wheel!

My husband and I decided to try Wagon Wheel based on the great reviews. The delicious coffee, friendly service and breakfast sandwich suggestion did not disappoint!! We hope more locals visit and spread the word of how absolutely great the coffee is! We enjoyed sitting outside of Ricks sipping our coffee and sharing one amazing breakfast sandwich!! We love supporting local business ❤️☕️
