A 4.5 rounded up for their authentic dishes. The low reviews may reflect folks who are expecting Americanized Chinese food like General Gao’s, crab rangoon, brown colored fried rice and so on. But this restaurant is serving authentic Sichuan food from southwestern China which exemplifies bold, pungent and spicy in your face flavors. I love Cantonese cuisine and even eat Americanized Chinese food now and again but know it’s not fair to review a Sichuan restaurant on their few non Sichuan menu items.
We loved everything we ordered from the extensive menu and only wish the food was a bit less salty. I will ask them to make our order less salty next time. To be fair, the salt level is probably how most people would prefer their food but we are low salt people. I can’t wait to return and work my way through the menu. Recommend if you want to try authentic Sichuan food. Don’t come if you want crab Rangoon and red colored pork strips.

Very authentic Sichuan cuisine. The chili soup base is great!! Good portion overall for three people. The beef and pork intestines are very tender. Very good plating and nice services. Even the fried peanuts in the sour spicy glass noodle taste great. Will definitely comeback for next time. I will try the duck meat.

Whenever I’m heading back from a weekend trip to the North Shore, I love swinging by this spot for a quick Sichuan takeout. With reasonable prices, solid flavors, and speedy prep, it’s my go-to for those days when I just want good food without the fuss.
As usual with old-school Sichuan restaurants like this, I kept it classic here—dry-fried chicken, twice-cooked pork, fish fillet, and etc. The default spice level was just right—not too overpowering—and all the flavors were on point. My favorites so far were the house special catfish fillet and the Sichuan-style cold noodles, which come as a nice bonus for online orders over $50.
While I won’t go out of my way to come here on a normal day, it’s still a good choice if you are in the mood for something simple and satisfying. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

The Sichuan cuisine here is very authentic. The couple’s lung slices taste great, and the double-cooked pork is also good. Their spicy beef is really good, and those who like spicy food should not miss it.

We got the Szechuan dumplings, the pork and cabbage dumplings and the brown sugar fried rice cakes.
They were all absolutely incredible. The spicy Szechuan sauce was so flavorful. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could’ve eaten more dumplings.

update at 09/03/2023: had food yesterday, ordered 麻婆豆腐，but the tofu is soulful and tasted bad. They canceled the dish for us but they did not say sorry or apologize at all! Bad for the service. Will update it to one ⭐️ only… disappointed about it because I went to this place a lot.. but not any more.
update at 02/19/2023: had take out and got 凉面 for free. When it is taking out, it is much better flavor than you dine in.. again, 四川回锅肉- Double cooked poker belly and 麻婆豆腐 is recommended. Change it to 5 stars this time.

You Zhou (Zhulaobing)
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Food were served very fast. First time try fried pork dumplings, not recommend as it’s not authentic at all, it’s totally fried but not one side and the wrapper is so thick. But I still love the rest of the dishes. Tofu was very tender, recommend to those who don’t like very spicy. Sliced beef omasum and tender is spicy, authentic and nice. Double-cooked pork belly is well cooked, a little bit too much oil but this is how this dish like. Recommend for those who wanna try some authentic Sichuan dishes.

I’m a doordash driver and as everyone knows we don’t have a bathroom all the time, I was very needy and asked to use the bathroom, and they didn’t allow it, this rarely happens, all the other restaurants understand human need, so I was very hurt by this situation and I hope you have more empathy and love for others, I will never go back to this restaurant, note 0 0️⃣
