I got the breakfast panini for $19 that was supposed to be on multigrain bread. It was white sandwich bread and seemed like the eggs were made from egg beaters, not very flavorful either. Expensive for what it is but probably upcharged because of location next to the convention center. The cashier was nice though.

I don’t know why this place has a low rating. Most of the food was delicious. The breakfast menu sandwiches were tasty, and the pizza was good, too.

Stayed for a conference. Due to closeness I got breakfast here everyday. A little pricey but not bad.. had gluten free options which was great for my husband!

This spot is located in the lobby of Hyatt Regency in Long Beach.
The food here is surprisingly good. I had a cobb salad, and my friend ordered a grilled cheese. The salad was a good amount and the grilled cheese was made well too.
Seating in the area is usually pretty easy to find.
Beer/alcohol available to drink there or bring to your room.

Stayed at Hyatt and have some of my meals here for convenience.
Sitting area is nice with open view to the opposite dock area.
The grill chicken panini was nice but the chicken tenders was disaster.
Dry and overcooked.

At a few meals here. Was really excited for the gluten-free menu they had behind their tills. Had the gf pizza one evening and loved it (meat lovers) and then had the gf breakfast pizza and it was undercooked.

Oh god, where to begin? The service here is really bad. So I got the egg white frittata. After I ordered and paid I got told they’d ran out of feta. Was disappointed but it’s not the end of the world. Then I waited about half an hour for it, even though there was barely anybody else inside. Once it came out it was filled with red and green bell peppers, which I hate. It was not listed as having bell peppers on the menu.
Keep in mind, me and my boyfriend’s coffee still hadn’t arrived yet. The server behind the counter just forgot to do it because he was listening to music on headphones. When we told him we were still waiting on our coffee, he went back to the counter and hung out a bit longer doing nothing until he finally started making them. It was actually comical lol. Then he brought the coffee over and of course got the order wrong. I didn’t even complain cos I felt like so many things had gone wrong from the food to the coffee to the service that I just left. I’d already paid and didn’t want to argue.
So in summary, food was late, missing an ingredient, then filled with an ingredient I didn’t ask for and wasn’t listen on the menu. Food came before drinks, drinks were forgotten and also late, then wrong, and the server didn’t even care.
It was just a mess all round. Oh yeah, and it was expensive! Ate at the flawless 5 star Zuzu’s Petals the next day and paid less there than we paid at Market, I couldn’t believe it.

Their food is way over priced for what you get. I got an iced coffee, bagel with lox and a side of fruit it was $51. They don’t have any good iced coffee and NO COLD BREW. definitely won’t stay at this hotel again for work given the crappy food and terrible coffee options.

The food is not good for that price tag. We had two chilaquiles. One actually had an egg on it, the other just had a bunch of foam and the chilaquiles were very dry and some of the chips were so incredibly hard and old that you couldn’t even chew them.
