It was an amazing place. It was my first time and the waiter (Ava) was awesome. She was very helpful and understanding about teaching me and my little brother how to cook our food. Definitely would recommend 10/10. If you do go try the Godzilla Roll it was awesome.

We had such a great experience! The atmosphere is super cool — every table is booth-style with a round skillet in the center so you can cook your own meats, which makes it such a fun and interactive meal. The all-you-can-eat menu includes almost everything (just drinks and dessert are separate), and the sushi was fantastic.
This would be perfect for a date night or a girls’ night out. We were so pleased with everything!

This is one of my top favorite places to eat in Lubbock, Texas. Korean food is my favorite and this place never disappoints. The servers and owners are so helpful and sweet. The first time I ate here, our waiter Peter was so helpful and patient with showing us how to cook the food. They even play kpop music and show some kpop performances on the tvs, to enjoy while eating. The staff is so friendly, I have had other servers also be nice and helpful with showing us how to properly cook the Korean bbq. They’re very attentive and check on you often. I had my birthday here and the staff helped my sister with the surprise Kpop cake my sister brought in, the staff came out and did their happy birthday celebration song and it was so fun. I have ate here about 5-6 times and it’s is a great experience always. I’ve brought my young nephew here and he loved it. I highly recommend to anyone that loves Korean food.
I have tried the sliced fatty beef, pork belly, a dragon roll, hot Cheeto roll, white rice, corn cheese, beef bulgologi, spicy tofu stew, lettuce (for lettuce wraps), premium steak, Hawaiian steak and all the sides (banchan). All has been so delicious. If you love kimchi they also have that too!

We had a really good time our waitress was very attentive. The food was Not a bad quality. Only complaint I would have is the amount of small children that were in there fussing. As well as the cook (my hubby ) used too much soy sauce! It was really fun to watch everybody else cooking as well. I would recommend going here, and making lasting memories with your family!

This is my new favorite restaurant in town! Volkano exceeded my expectations entirely. The ingredients they serve are high quality and absolutely delicious. I am shocked a place like this even exists in Lubbock. The customer service is amazing! Peter was our server. He was very polite and quick! He helped us get started on our KBBQ platter because it was our first time in. The very best customer service I’ve ever received in Lubbock. The restaurant itself is well-organized and so clean. There wasn’t even a crumb on the ground. I will be coming back! More people need to know about this place.

The food was so good. As a first timer I was obviously struggling, but our server Ava was the best. Ava helped us cook and pick our meat selection. Her service was amazing, and she is such a sweetheart. We are definitely coming back!

We went here for dinner, and it was wonderful. Dexter was very kind and helped us out when we didn’t know how to cook the shrimp on the flat top. He kept coming back to check on us and adjusting the temperature. It was awesome of him. We ate well, having all you can eat meat was great for our budget. We are definitely coming back here because that garlic pork belly was delicious!!

Volkano bbq & sushi is fantastic! This is our third time here and it never disappoints. There’s great variety for all you can eat bbq and sushi options. And, tonight, it’s Bogo night ( second person eats at half price) our server Olivia was superb! I highly recommend you try it out!
