A new Jersey Mike’s has arrived!. We have been wanting to give them a try. Looking for a change. We decided on the “Giant Philly cheese Steak”. It appears to be 15′ long. It was a pretty good Sub. Bread was not to tough, the meat was cooked to perfection, blended with the melted Cheese. At 15′ it figured out to cost total of $21.70 or about $1.45 per inch. Probably worth it, but seemed a bit high.

I really didn’t want to write a negative review, but after the same issue happening multiple times, I feel it’s worth sharing.
On my most recent visit, I ordered a Giant #7 on wheat bread, but when I got home I discovered it had been made on white bread instead. This was disappointing, especially since I intentionally choose wheat not just for taste, but because whole-grain bread generally has better nutritional value. White bread is something I avoid, so this mistake meant I couldn’t enjoy the sandwich as ordered.
What makes this frustrating is that this is now the third time this has happened at this location.
I shared my experience and hoped for some response, but unfortunately I never heard back. I didn’t want to leave an unfavorable review, but after repeated disappointing experiences and no response, it felt necessary to be upfront.
The food itself is usually good, and this is a very fixable issue. I just hope more care is taken with bread choices going forward, especially since it’s a simple but important part of the order.

I normally go to the one in valley view or harbor but saw this location open. Decided to give it a try. Very disappointed, my chicken philly cheese steak was so dry. I always get this menu but it was just the worst. Asked my wife about her wrap, she was also disappointed. I guess they just opened, but definitely need to improve their food.

Store was dead and they still took the maximum allotted time for my sandwich. Literally no other customer or orders being made other than mine.
Ordered the hot Italian sub and it lacked the juice? Odd to omit the juice on an Italian sandwich.
Also, expect subpar everything. Why? Just google Buena Park demographics and you will see your answer.
