Jersey Mike’s on Marco Island delivered an impressive first-time experience with their hot Italian big sandwich. The sandwich lives up to its name – absolutely massive and packed with an almost overwhelming amount of quality Italian meats. The restaurant itself is spotless, and the staff was exceptionally polite and helpful, making the visit even more enjoyable.
The hot Italian comes loaded with so much meat that I actually removed about half to create a better balance of flavors and textures. While some might see this as a drawback, the generous portions offer incredible value for your money. The Parmesan bread was a standout touch that elevated the entire sandwich with its savory, cheesy crust.
For first-timers, don’t be intimidated by the size – you’re getting serious bang for your buck. If you prefer a more balanced meat-to-everything-else ratio like I do, just ask them to go lighter on the proteins. Either way, Jersey Mike’s Marco Island location is worth the visit for quality ingredients and excellent service.

My sister and I were just passing through from CA, and spotted a Jersey Mikes, we never been! The employees were super sweet and welcoming. They moved through the line quickly, but took great care of our order. Easy access and parking available 🙂

One issue with Jersey Mike’s is it can be slow do to their cutting the meat for every order. They were fast at this one, with the counter person fixing subs for 4 or 5 persons in a group at the same time. I had the cheese steak for the first time and it was very good. All areas of the restaurant were clean, dining area and restrooms. It is a great choice for a meal especially if you have kids since Marco Island is a bit pricey overall, and they do not have kicked up prices just for being located on the island.

We love Jersey Mike’s and eat at them in several states on a regular basis. This location is using a weird bread though…ZERO flavor and a super strange, unpleasant texture. I’m not sure why they would use something different from the standard, but yuck. Music was also so loud that we had to practically shout our order.

We eat at Jersey Mikes frequently in other locations. My favorite bread is always the rosemary parm. The bread in this location is different than we have had before. I thought maybe because it’s a new store, but it’s been the same every time we have eaten here. Very doughy and not a lot of flavor.
