It would be a great place to stop and have an adult beverage, it was clean and not loud. Service was only “ok”. The waitress was pleasant and friendly just not very attentive. Took a long time to come to our table to take our food order and we were the only table of customers, all others were at the bar counter.
I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss hamburger with fries. The burger was small and cooked well-done, yuk. There was a generous amount of Swiss cheese but the mushrooms were MIA. The bun was boring and not soft, a great disappointment. The fries were ok and they served plenty with each order.
My friend ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and that actually looked really good. It was loaded with ingredients and the bun looked soft and good. I would definitely give the Philly Cheese Steak more of a 4 star food rating. And again there was a generous amount of FF’ s with that order.
Now the absolute BEST and most delicious appetizer food item I’ve had in a very long time were the Rattler Bites. Sorry for the pic of almost an empty basket of them but I tried one and couldn’t stop. Just fried cheese but lawdy were they ever GREAT! I have no idea what they do differently with theirs from other fried cheese bites but it works. ORDER THESE, you will not be disappointed.
I would go back to try some of their other food items but stay away from their pub burgers.
I went there a few months back now… the food took a long time, roughly thirty minutes to get to us, which I didn’t mind whatever it happens… the concern there was we were the only people to arrive at six o’clock, but maybe it’d be in a barn grille. They didn’t have the grille’s ready or anything else so I overlooked that, and I ask you all to do the same.
My issue comes from when we got the food.It was way overcooked. The hamburger was well done to burnt. If I was lucky the fries were definitely refrigerated, which I don’t mind. But when they’re also burnt, it’s less than ideal…
My biggest issue is I wound up, throwing all that food up that night, and i’ve never gotten food poisoning. And i’m pretty sure that was food poisoning.Since I didn’t have anything to drink when I was there. And I didn’t eat anything else that day.And I immediately felt sick when I got home and managed to hold it down for thirty minutes before upching the meal.
My review is what it is.If you all want to risk it go for it, you might be able to have a good meal. The food is most definitely better.I would hope on the weekend or if you’re intoxicated. However, I will not consider going back there because of my experience. The only rest foromic compare it to was a chili’s twenty minutes before closing. When they served me a burger that was so burnt. That I couldn’t even eat it… sadly, that second diss on the chili’s was not even an exaggeration.I left that burger on my plate after two bites.
Theres indoor bags setup. Pool table, darts, and slot machines. Plenty of TV’s.
Smoking is allowed so head’s up in case you’re not used to that.
