Once upon a time: Best place ever! Very good food and portions. If you are nearby you cannot let this go. Stop, eat, be happy!
Update: that was a few months ago, but something has changed.
Food is over salty all the time, and the bbq is often dry and chewy.
Service has taken a hit too.
Last time we went there, it was a 1 out of 5 experience, including defective bbq sauce dispencers that dumped the whole bottle on the plate. When we showed the plate, the waitress said: “oh, ya, we have been having issues with the new bottles..” she left and did not even offer to replace the meal that was soaked in too much sauce to be edible.
We won’t go back.

Second time visiting for lunch! Had the Smoked meat Salad,(1/4 Smoked Chicken) with Spicy bbq and ranch that I mixed together. Chicken had great level of smoke and flavor, iceberg lettuce and toppings where very fresh!Yummy
Spicy bbq sauce”WAS BOMB” on the pork sandwich with some bbq baked beans. Loved it!

The appetizers and fries were great, the burger was extra crispy, was a busy night and could barely get someone to refill our drinks. Maybe the steaks would’ve been better. Can’t say it was great but it wasn’t horrible. Would go back to give them a chance on their steaks.

Pretty nice spot. Didn’t get to eat inside, had an order to go. Staff were helpful and nice. I tried the pulled pork on Texas toast and very happy with the flavor and potion. The fries were very very good. Looking forward to returning for dinner, probably going to try the ribs.

Others are right, from the time it gets to be seated to the time you place your order, you are waiting >20min for dinner (lunch isn’t as bad).
However, the food is very, very good; some of the juiciest+tenderest ribs. The corn was good too, the fries were good (a tad too much of the powered seasoning).

Food: Everything seemed fresh and the smoked meat was very good. The BBQ and Awesome sause were okay.
Decor: Kind of run down and looked dirty. Our table was sticky and the highchair we needed was also dirty.
Service: We had to get up from the table to get some help twice… but they were very nice.
Overall a good place to eat if you are in the area. Seems there is not to much to pick from. Would eat there again if we are in the area, but would not travel far just for this place.
At least worth a try once.

We have eaten here every single time we have been in Glenville. My daughter plays softball and has games at Sue Morris Complex fairly often. We called ahead Friday night to make sure we could be accommodated. We waited for almost two hours for our food. Half of us never received our food and had to go to McDonald’s after. At first the server insisted we had to pay for our whole order..even food we didn’t receive. When we refused to pay for what we didn’t get, the manager slunk out of the door and didn’t even address us. Apparently, the kitchen was closed before they completed our orders but we could wait another half hour for them for open the kitchen if we would like. It is a shame that this has happened to the restaurant. I know we are only in the area three or four times a year, but we bring many customers to the restaurant. We use to brag about how amazing the food is there. However, after this experience I have strongly suggested to anyone at the tournament to go a little further down the road to another establishment. Unfortunately, for me and our team. We won’t be back. I understand that things happen. However, when the manager doesn’t even care enough to address it then that is unfortunate. I hope you guys are able to get it together.

I LOVE hot hot hot wings, and this restaurant’s Tropical Habanero wings are amazing! I was nervous about them being “breaded,” but it was light and crispy and the chicken was juicy. Also, they weren’t drowned in the hot sauce, and I can appreciate that. Great service and awesome sweet tea, too!
