Even better tasting than it looks, and it looks amazing, doesn’t it?

I got two tacos al pastor, and added the onions/cilantro, a squeeze of lime and salsa verde. I also tried the sliced peppers and onions, which were really flavorful. The corn tortillas were exceptional, and together everything just made me so happy. I got a Sprite to go with my tacos but I have to say Coke pairs better, and husband prefers the Jarritos Lime soda. They have the imported soda in glass bottles, made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, so it’s worth trying for sure.

This place is cash only, so come prepared.

The service was great too and we will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Small place and not in a high traffic area but the food is outstanding! I am originally from SoCal and I think maybe the best I have had in the Carolinas

If you can handle mildew ceiling flakes dropping on the floor as you eat the best tacos of your life, this is the place. Make sure you come ready with Zelle (to pay) and wet wipes. Make yourself at home at home… Good food

We bought food this morning and as i couldn’t believe the price the owner charged me for a small plate of rice and beans with a little piece of pork and a soda. He charged us $11.00 actually he over charged us for this little amount of food and he said if we would buy 1/2 pound of pork it would be cheaper which it didn’t make sense, how can it be cheaper for a 1/2 pound of pork than a piece of it, also the owners attitude was horrible.

We were staying in a hotel on our way home and I made my way up 295 to this little Taqueria for take out. The food was so good. It was late and the selection was limited but I got tacos, tamales, rice and both kinds of beans. Salsa bar was very hot, still hot, some of the best verde I’ve had, etc. price was low. Cash only. Looking forward to leftovers when we get home.

Just discovered this place last weekend. Simple selection – tacos & tamales of various meats. Just done AMAZINGLY well. Very friendly staff who helped me decide. I love that they are open from 6am – 9pm, only closed Sunday. Stopped there at breakfast time to get lunch for myself and it might not make it to lunch!

Ate supper there first. Had lamb, pork, black beans and rice. Very good. Many other choices. Very authentic food. Got some tamales and burritos for breakfast. What can I say? Awesome!!! Will definitely visit again. If you want real authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. Carry cash, they don’t take credit or debit.

Good definitely use a remodel but usually these hole in the wall places have the best food so I tried it anyway. First of all the corn and hot dog slices in the rice was not pleasant at all. If it was just regular authentic Mexican rice my breakfast burrito would have been great. I could do without the refried beans as well, but I know to tell them to leave out the beans and rice next time. The chef should really change that rice recipe though. Corn and hotdogs in Mexican rice? Really? Otherwise the steak Pico de gallo and eggs were great.

This is a hidden gem spot here in Spartanburg SC. DON’T let the atmosphere fool you. It may be a hole in the wall (they are the most authentic cultural) but they serve the best tamales (ya need to get there early before 11am or else it’s all gone) The owner George and staff were awesome and the food is really authentic and delicious which we love!! We always make an attempt to stop by each time we’re in town from Georgia. Give it a try next time ya pass by Spartanburg.
