I really really really like this restaurant! As having the “Asian Stomach”, I strongly recommend this restaurant for foodie! All of their meals don’t miss, everything is so delicious and reminds me my home meal. It really takes time after you order your food, but definitely worth it! Having lived in Bangkok many years, we were happy to discover this place in Berlin hoping to satisfy our cravings.
We ordered 2 traditional dishes – yellow curry and Thai basil pork.
The yellow curry was very salty and way too heavy on curry powder tasting more Indian than Thai style. The Thai basil pork has a total of 4 basil leaves and totally lacked the expected taste. Besides that it was overly salty also.
Highly overrated. Not worth the hype nor the waiting time.

I’m writing with an important update about Oma Dan, as so many of you miss her and are asking why the shop is closed. I am a Thai resident in Berlin who has been in contact with her.
Oma Dan has been struggling with her health for a long time. Due to her age, she is managing several serious conditions, including rheumatism, asthma, and unstable blood pressure. She has been in and out of the hospital for over a year and is currently not well enough to work.
She still hopes to return to the shop soon, that’s why she is not giving up on her business. She is still paying the shop rent even though she is unable to earn money from it right now. She lives right upstairs and can sometimes manage a walk to the supermarket, but on other days, she has to stay home.
Thank you all for your care and love. I will share any new information here when I have it.

Places might look small or in a weird location but the food is amazing! There is a grandmother who cooks and she makes the food by herself! All the ingredients are fresh and she makes the food right in front of you. She is incredibly and definitely has magic in her hands! It is one of the best Thai place I have ever tried in the world!

Amazing authentic thai place, all food is homemade and made personally by owner. Place is quite small, and if there are more people in the queue you might have to wait, but its definetely worth it. 10/10 would recommend

Best Pad Thai ever. Been there a couple of times and the wait is on average 25 minutes but there is the “grandma” owner who cooks the ordered dishes on demand. Tiny space with some random seats outside. Make sure to order inside and get a number since the people waiting outside makes it not clear what to do.

Pad Thai just like home in Thailand! Thank you for providing this magic in Berlin, Wedding. To create these tasty wholesome dishes in such a small kitchen is a skill in itself so it’s very understandable that there may be a queue/wait for food.

Absolutely delicious. Stunning flavours made in a very authentic street food style kitchen that for my understanding of german hygiene rules, well, though that’s where you get the best products.
Randomly open in my experience, passing by almost every week and sometimes open, sometimes not, definitely worth a shot.
