I’m not a fan of Yucatán dishes, even after travels to Valladolid and Merida, and it was magnified by eating at this place. AIs are notorious for unauthentic foods. Nothing, and I’ll repeat – nothing, I ordered tasted great despite all of the fantastic reviews of other individuals visiting Unico who raved this was their favorite place. I was unimpressed and left hungry. I probably ate via room service more than I ever have at an AI before.

I went in with high expectations but this turned out to be my least favorite restaurant on the resort. I got the chance to try many different dishes, including the tres leches which I was really looking forward to but everything was mediocre at most. The birria tacos were the biggest disappointment, no cheese and the tortilla was a bit stale. Despite everything, the service was very good!

This was our least favorite night of dining at the resort. No vegetarian main dish, starter with the sauce and dip were weird. I ate a few bites of everything and wished we had eaten at the sushi restaurant again

The bartender was great and recommended the Mezcal that he liked the most. It was super smooth. All of the food that we had tasted very authentic. The house made blue masa, Clamato shrimp, and spicy tuna tostada, and pork sopa were sooo delicious.

Everything was fenomenal!!! Went to eat there 3 times during my vacation! That Chilmole Beef Fillet was my favorite. Also tried the Tomatillo and tapioca pie-yes, you heard that right, Tomatillo pie. It was delicious loved Cueva 7
