Discovered a hidden jewel out in Elmwood! Friends of ours recommended it and it did not disappoint. Manfriend had breakfast of eggs, French toast with Chocolate chips and 1/2 side of biscuits/gravy. Prices were extremely reasonable. Food was delicious. I had lunch and they let me create a monstrosity. I did a pony shoe / country fried steak and it did not disappoint. Best part about it?! They have Jones Soda on tap. Seriously one of the better new places I’ve tried in months.

Wow, high-quality food! If you order country fried stake like I did, make sure to have it topped by brown gravy. The best side dish, in my opinion, is beer buttered fries, but I got pleasantly surprised also by how good their green beans were.
The service was super kind and caring.

Nice, family friendly small town restaurant with pleasant, hometown service. Menu is typical Midwestern stick to your ribs food such as fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fish, horseshoes, and burgers. You can order breakfast all day and the skillets are superb. There are also daily specials. Portions are bountiful and you won’t leave hungry. Prices are reasonable.

While I didn’t eat anything off their menu, I did attend a wedding reception upstairs. I highly recommend the facility if you need a gathering venue. Added bonus, they have an elevator to the second floor to help accommodate all guests’ needs.

Had the fried chicken carry out dinner recently. Unfortunately the chicken breading had no flavor to it. We’ve never had the fried chicken from here before so maybe it’s not always like that but it was disappointing for the price.

Good food. Long wait time for food but we had a large group. Only one waitress trying to do everything so didn’t get a lot of attention from her. She was very nice though. Nice place with a great variety of choices on the menu. Good small town eats. Ordered the all you can eat Walleye which was tasty.
