After waiting for several minutes for someone to take our order, my friends and I proceeded to wait 45 minutes for our food. Which would’ve been fine if the food had been good, it was a solid meh – not worth the wait. The second star goes to the seemingly one woman show – we only saw one worker the whole time, she was our cashier, waiter, and cook. But she was kind and happy, so the second star is for her!
I got the small Mac n cheese bowl with brisket – it came in a styrofoam bowl and true to its name it was small… My sister got the XL Mac n cheese and it was barely more than mine. I also got the peanut butter bar, it was ok frozen but the taste declined as it warmed to room temp. My friends got the banana pudding, that tastes good.
The atmosphere was nice – the seating, music, and lighting. But the customers all looked quiet and put out by the long wait for food, no one was really smiling which made it feel a little off.
I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before going.

Stopped by at this BBQ place and it was really good. The chopped brisket was incredibly moist and place smelled really good and very welcoming, and the staff was very attentive.
If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely come by again.

I am relatively unimpressed. I ordered the American Cheeseburger with a side of Mac’n’Cheese for lunch. The service was prompt enough, considering the entire woman’s division of the senior citizens club was there. My burger was burned, the Mac was flavorless, and the interior decor (black walls, black table tops) created a blinding contrast to the bright windows at the front of the store. Granted, I only tried one menu item, but if one menu item is not good, and the rest is, then it should not be on the menu in the first place. Holy Grill, more like DMV Grill.

So to start off we got here and it was literally dead. Like no one in the restaurant and also no one at the counter. I was thrown off cause it was just after lunch time (about 1pm) on a Saturday and it felt a bit creepy. But non the less we rang the bell and the quiet but friendly employee helped us out. We got 2 Sandwiches with a side of fries and a side of baked beans for $30. Not too bad! I got a sliced brisket sandwich and my wife got a brisket melt. The baked beans were on point! Tangy, sweet and hearty! The sandwiches were fresh, hot and the meat was cooked great! The fries were delicious! Crispy with a soft center! There were also 4 complimentary BBQ sauces on the tables! We had the whole restaurant to ourselves so I got a good look at the cool chalk paint writing on the walls. They had some sports playing but no audio. They have no music, no radio and no TV sound so it was very quiet in there.. My wife and I enjoyed the food but when another couple came in at the end, we could literally listen to each others conversations from across the building! The vibe felt off for that reason. Obviously we can’t make it more popular and maybe it’s just the location but some music might be more inviting! All in all I would go back again and bring some peeps with me to try it out! Delicious food and friendly service with an awesome looking bar/ restaurant!

Our family of 8 has come here 7+ times!! We LOVE the brisket. The owner is passionate, and makes sure everything is juicy. I’ve honestly no had better bbq beans, they put all the meats in them. Cornbread is great. Honey butter is home-made. Mac and Cheese is stove top and mixed right as you order so it’s juicy.

This place is tucked on the side of a small shopping center. We went at 4pm and there the place was empty. While trying to order our side options, they kept telling us they were out. They had 8 options, and were out of 4 of them before dinner. We were a bit annoyed, but picked something out of what they had. After ordering, we went to fill our drinks and their Pepsi machine had one drink option out of order, and the coke machine had 4 drink options out of order, which was another annoyance. I’m not sure how a small restaurant like this could be out of so many things. The burger and the pastrami sandwich we ordered was delicious! The fries were good but the mac and cheese side was bland, a bit grainy and runny so we didn’t eat it. I’m giving this place 3 stars because the sandwiches were good, but we really didn’t like that they were out of a lot of options.

Drove 2 hrs just to give this place a try for early valentines dinner… waiting in line to order they answered the phone to take a togo order When ordering they told me they were out of ribs then said they could do the ribs but it would not be a full rack which we agreed was okay. We ordered the family platter with the ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, greens& an extra side of beans totaling $80 paying full price without getting the full rack we waited for 30 mins then were told that they didn’t have Mac and cheese anymore which was super frustrating because we got it specifically for my toddler. So they gave us fries instead. Waited an additional 20 minutes and was told they were working on our order. Got our food after waiting an hour and 15 minutes. Food was good did not care for the fries we really wanted the Mac and cheese. Really bummed having to pay all the money we did to Not even get what we initially ordered I understand places get busy and sometimes they run out of things however this is dinner on a Friday at 5 pm. Would recommend calling to make sure they have the items you want to prevent the long drive. I would also love to try it again in the future when they’ll have all the items to complete a full order.

Really good food, the sauces on each table were also good. I might recommend some hot sauce be added if you love heat but overall a really good BBQ joint. Good came out fast and the owner greeted us and checked on us multiple times. Great service. Beer pitchers and individuals are fairly priced. If I find myself back in Utah county I’ll be coming back!

Now I have no photos because I waited and hour for this French dip sandwich , BUT IT WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT. it was so perfect . And the Mac n cheese was amazing and my husband had the jalapeno burger and he said it was the best burger he ever had . 100% would recommend to anyone especially if you love French dip sandwiches like I do . Best one I’ve had in Utah by far

The holy grill and bar has good portions of food for a pretty decent price. We got the pulled pork and brisket and ribs. The brisket was the best of the three. My kids loved the mac and cheese. The food was served within 15 minutes after we ordered and the place was about half full. They have 5 different types of sauces. The Grimm sauce was pretty spicy. The orange krush was my favorite.
