1st time here. If you like a fresh seafood boil then this is the place however there was no taste, no flavor, no love cooked into the meal. Nothing about it was worth $30 dollars and you shouldn’t even do a deal where you buy one get the 2nd platter for $20. The platter should be worth $20-$25. The website and menu says potatoes included but instead it’s tater tots like we’re kids! I wouldn’t recommend no one to go here for a seafood boil. It’s quite embarrassing to sell it.

I cannot say for certain but the people posting negative reviews about this restaurant and its Owner may be competitors of this restaurant. Cause I am a long time (20+ years) customer who has come in weekly for fresh, tasty delicious food that I cannot get elsewhere and great conversation and Lou of Loupy’s Crabs Seafood and Catering provides both each and every time. It doesn’t matter what I order, or my friends, or family order but everyone raves about the freshness, the quality and quantity of what Lou sells. And customer service… who else in this day and age takes the time to get to know you personally and professionally, ask about your family, or heck simply your day? I and everyone I know get that with Lou and his sous chef Michael. Is it possible that the Owner had a bad moment, or seemed upset and a customer take note of it – I suppose. But we are human, emotional people and while most restaurants have a robot taking my order or I have to speak through a box to get my food, I would take a heartwarming, kind hearted, emotionally-filled person every time and to remark negatively about it in a comment is childish at best. Hands down, week after week, year after year, Loupy’s provides a great food experience whether you are stopping in to pick up chicken wings or hardshell crabs, tuna, salmon, crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp or snow crabs and soooo much more. He offers meals that include sides and salad, and he does it with a smile and a true desire to make the customer happy. Lou is well aware that in today’s global marketplace you can go anywhere for what you yearn for. However Lou also knows once you enter his storefront – you won’t need to go anywhere but Loupy’s from here on out. If delicious tasting food is what you are after…Loupy’s is the place to go and more often than that you’ll walk out feeling like you made a new friend along the way.

Came in to buy some lobster bisque because on there website shows they sell it but when I came in the staff told me they didn’t make it today! and ask when are they are planning on making the lobster bisque again and the chef told me in quote “whenever I feel like it” never again will I come back to this business they where empty for a reason!

I agree with the other reviewers that the owner, Loupy, can be quite rude. He always seems irritated and a bad mood whenever I visited. A few weeks ago, I ordered the seafood scampi pasta, it was so oily that I had to throw most of it away. The scallops also tasted off, it had an ammonia taste to it, suggesting they weren’t fresh. This time, I s
ordered the seafood pasta with marinara instead since it usually has less oil. When I went to pick up my food, Loupy confronted me about my previous negative review and asked me to take it down because it might hurt his business. I found that extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

The quality of the food does not match the price. The “butter” tastes much like the fake butter on movie theater popcorn. The seafood is far from fresh. My husband wanted to give this place another try but it seems like it has only went further downhill. Go ahead and contact Google or have me banned from the restaurant. This is an honest review.

For the second year in a row my family and I have chosen Loupys for our annual family crab night. Not only does the staff go above and beyond every time from ordering to pick up but the seafood is outstanding. Last year everyone was impressed by the amazing flavor and sheer size of the snow crabs and this year they seemed to be even bigger and tastier. Without a doubt we will be having our next years crab night with Loupy! I also just want to shoutout the great staff and give a big thank you for the ease it was to order (yet again) for my whole family and the outcome – you guys took any stress away from planning a night like this and added only happiness and of course the BEST seafood around.

The owner of this place has clearly forgotten what customer service means. The food might at one time been great, however it’s average at best. And to the manager just because you claim millions of people visit your restaurant doest mean anything, millions of people visit a toilet also! Paying customers are giving you their opinions on your product and you choose to insult and belittle them. YOU ARE A FREAKING JOKE! He’s got the right one with me! You wanna act like adults or savages it’s up to you! However, just remember how you come at me is how lm coming back at you times 10.

Everything was fresh and delicious! The garlic crabs were amazing! Loved them cooked and cleaned. We will definitely come back and try the other menu options.

First of all, the owner was very nice to us! The Fried flounder was super crispy, well seasoned, and had no extra grease. The owner also packaged the food very well to ensure the customers don’t get a soggy meal. Delicious food that made my husband and I want more after we finished.
