A hidden gem in the North Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains, right in McCaysville, GA! Whether you arrive by train or car, this little Mexican spot is worth the stop. On Mondays, they serve $1 mini tacos (minimum order of five, with shredded chicken or ground beef). The tacos were flavorful and satisfying—though the ground beef leaned a bit salty, it was still enjoyable. Drinks come in massive 32oz buckets, so you definitely won’t go thirsty. If you’re in town, grab a taco and soak in the charm of this tucked-away treasure!

Didn’t know Mexican restaurants existed in this area. I came apart of the train tour not expecting to find this place here. I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos and a Horchata Agua Fresca. The tacos were ok, i was expecting steak strips/chunks ans got ground beef but the beverage was good.

If you’re in the area looking for authentic Mexican Food, go check out this place. We got the Torta Asada, tacos asada, tacos de lengua(cow tongue), shrimp tacos and kids quesadilla de asada. All the food was so delicious! The tortillas as handmade, so the tacos taste much better. The hot sauces were spicy, just how we like them! We will be coming back again when we are in the area!

I feel completely scammed by this place. We stopped in this town on our train trip, and decided to give this place a try despite it being completely empty. Huge mistake. Food was okay but nothing special. My daughter wanted the kids quesadilla with chicken and fries. Can’t remember the exact price but it was reasonable. The manager came over and said they cannot put chicken on it and recommended us getting the regular quesadilla for “around the same price”. We agreed thinking she was being honest but unfortunately she was not. When we went to pay the bill it was over $100! The cost of the quesadilla with fries was over $20!!! Complete joke. We also had fajitas and some tacos. Both hardly worth the price we paid. If you’re stopping by this town, I would avoid this place at all costs. They clearly take advantage of out of towners.

We were driving through on our leaf looking trip & found this gem of a restaurant! The food was amazing & the service was great!
my husband had the asada California burrito, it was huge. I had the 2 sopes- 1asada & 1 carnitas both homemade & yummy.
We had to walk around town a bit before getting back in our car, we highly recommend!

An absolute hidden gem!! I have been going to the other Mexican restaurants in Mccaysville for many years not even realizing this was here. A buddy from work laughed at me when I told him I go to the other restaurants, and he told me they suck compared to Mexico Loco, I had to give it a try
Went on Dollar mini taco night, 5 tacos for 5 bucks! I’m a big boy and I was quiet happy and filled with my appetizer. Then my burrito came and the fajitas. Whoa! Delicious!!
Excellent service and cold beer! Will definitely be back!!
This is our new Mexican restaurant moving forward!! Goodbye to the other 2, it’s been real.

This is my second week coming for the $1.00 tacos and ordered the exact same both times but was charged more the second time. Also asked for no onions and there were so many on them I couldn’t pick them off. Very disappointing.

Date night Best guac evers—me & baby love it! The whole everything was amazing. Gotta try the hot sauce, but buyer beware—it ain’t for the faint of heart.
