The food was mediocre. This was a 3 meat plate with two sides for $25 (taxes and it’s extra for brisket and ribs). Got two tiny little ribs, and the double portion of brisket looked like one portion. The bacon cheddar potatoes had very tough cold pieces of bacon, not crispy, just very tough. Coleslaw had a strange texture in the sauce and tasted very average. Has a very commercial vibe to the place and food. Not much love put into it. Overall, not satisfied and ended up getting food elsewhere afterwards. Tried something new, not coming back. Sticking to the other tried and true BBQ spots in the area.

We had to go order for 15 people for our Christmas Eve party. The folks at Smokey Mo’s on 620 in Round Rock did a phenomenal job. All of the guest really liked the brisket and the pinto beans. Thanks, Smoky Mo’s and have a great holiday season

I love their BBQ! It’s packed with tons of flavor, their sides are delicious and the Sweet Tea is on point. Their brisket is moist and their sausage is tasty. I think they have the best customer service in Austin. You can grab a Baked Potato or just an amazing sandwich.

Decided to stop before getting on the road back to Dallas. I’ve heard positive reviews about the breakfast tacos. I plan to return. I ordered a brisket breakfast taco and it was delicious. The brisket was seasoned well.

Waited 45+ minutes for an online order that wasn’t correct once received. No communication from the staff upon arrival or while waiting, couldn’t get anyone’s attention or an answer to the wait time. They acted very inconvenienced when anyone would ask about an order. As the minutes went by they kept running out of more and more menu items. An off duty employee came in and got his food quickly while at least 5 other customers were waiting 30+ minutes for online orders. Dine-in customers were also waiting a long time to be greeted and orders taken as well as to receive their orders. This location has gotten continually worse each time we’ve been the past year.

We did catering for our High School Bands’ Homecoming game and all of the food was a hit! Especially the turkey and brisket sandwiches. I appreciated that they had options for our vegetarian students that were affordable and offered a decent amount of fuel to their bodies. The delivery was prompt and helpful, communication was pleasant and they were patient explaining their offerings in what would work for our large group. We will definitely use them again for our upcoming competitions and look forward to trying more items on their menu!

We ordered 2 meal plate exploded turkey and brisket / cream corn and mashed potatoes. I liked their sides but meats were so cold and brisket was not good at all. We were there at 3 pm, I don’t know maybe we went there late.

They do not skimp on breakfast taco fillings. Had to push some back in the tortilla before I could pick up. Biscuits and gravy were tasty. Fast, friendly service. Small but nice condiment bar.
