Tried Fil Fil today and honestly the food was really good. Everything tasted fresh and well made, not rushed. The bowl had great flavor, the meat was tender, and the toppings were fresh and balanced. Even the hot dog was different in a good way, flavorful and not greasy. Portions were fair and filling. Overall, a solid place with quality food. Would definitely come back and try more items.

I met up with my childhood best friend here recently and we had a fantastic experience. We were actually the only two guests in the restaurant at the time, which made it a great spot to sit, talk, and catch up for a couple of hours without feeling rushed.
I ordered the chicken rice bowl, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and my friend had the lamb chops with herb salad and crispy potatoes, which he loved. Everything tasted very clean and high-quality — you could tell the ingredients were fresh.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The staff was extremely welcoming and even brought out a couple items for us to sample, including cheese and beef sambusik and some muhammara, which was absolutely incredible. It was a great way to try a few things we might not have ordered otherwise.
The space itself is small and quiet, which makes it perfect for a relaxed meal with one or two people where you actually want to have a conversation. Parking was easy and free, and the service was top-tier the entire time.
If you’re looking for fresh Mediterranean food in the area, this is a great place to support. We’ll definitely be back.

Went last night, was VERY impressed with everything. I ordered a wide variety of dishes and everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The cabbage salad was terrific and I loved the sambousik. Our wraps came with these sauces, a green, red and white one. They were each tastier than the next. I will be back here for sure soon! So thankful to have this new place in Homer Glen!

This place is beautiful and the falafel wrap I had was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and the falafels themselves weren’t dry. I also tried the rose lemonade, it was different but good. Definitely give them a try.

Phenomenal food and a five-star–level experience in every way. The steak ciabatta is amazing, the steak rice bowl had melt-in-your-mouth tender steak, and the grape leaves are absolutely a must-try. Everything on the menu is healthy and light on the stomach. Worth every penny — this place is going to be huge.
