One block from The Washington Post, my friend and I walked into this old Paul space to find Mamma Dos under the same ownership as Paul. Mamma Dos looks the same as Paul, but has a bit more robust lunch menu. My friend enjoyed her bowl and I loved the tomato soup and grilled cheese. It was pricey ($20+ for grilled cheese and tomato soup), but it was good!

We frequently come to DC and were disappointed that Paul Bakery isn’t there anymore. The delightful twist is that the new Mamma Dos cafe is WONDERFUL!! Wasn’t expecting this at all. The service was exceptional and my croissant couldn’t have been better! Well done!

The salmon BLT was Fire! We also tried the southwest chicken bowl had a dressing that really made the dish stand out. The space has been given a fresh face lift that added to the ambiance. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Great experience with this place! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I especially want to thank Leyla for her amazing customer service on the phone. She was very polite, helpful, and made the ordering process easy. You can tell she really cares about the customers. Because of her great service, I will definitely order from here again.
