Update: I was asked to update per the response from Copper Kettle… thank you for asking for specifics. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a roll with lettuce, onion, and cheese. The roll was sub par. (Over looked that) By appearance the chicken salad was green. Which could be ok if using fresh herbs. The appearance wasn’t the problem so much it was the taste. It tasted like a literal salt shaker. Over done with the salt is not a thing that you can just eat anyway. Between two people took a few bites and couldn’t finish it.
Second sandwich was eggplant parm. Eggplant had more “breading” than eggplant. Cut thin is a definite term here. It was over cooked and hard on the outside. The mozz was the opposite cut very thick and didn’t melt at all. The roasted peppers were fine but the only flavor of the sandwich. Again the roll was sub par.
Bag of Utz chips with each sandwich lacked any salt which was ironic due to the salty chicken salad. (Not the restaurants fault. They are made by a company)
Service was fine. We didn’t wait overly long (we were the only people in the place) and the guy at the counter was friendly.
We should have read the other reviews prior to going in.
When we lived in basking ridge we frequently went here. We will not return.
The freshly baked cookie came and warm and gooey and was delicious.
Lovely lady on the counter, delightfully friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Thanks for a great mid morning break!
The portions are out of control & all of the food is exquisite yet homey.
We weren’t able to stay to eat as we hit the road to beat traffic but it was a great meal.
Would strongly encourage getting the chicken cutlet as it was flavourful & came with their home fries which were massive.
Food took ~15 mins from order till it was ready & cMe with complimentary sauces.
Wish I lived nearby so I could go again!
Met some friends here for brunch and our party were the only ones there. There was a dairy allergy in our group and they did not have any non-dairy options for coffee. This person got a coffee from outside with plans for us to still eat breakfast here. The gentleman at the register heard us discussing this and did not say anything indicating this would be an issue. When this person returned with the coffee, we were essentially and rudely told to leave as no outside food is permitted. To be fair, there is a sign outside that states this that we had not noticed.
One of the members of our party had used the bathroom during this time. We were forced to buy something before being forced to leave as the bathroom was for customers only.
I completely understand the sign and the rules, and have no issue with that. However the way this situation was handled and the way we were treated and spoken to were uncalled for.
Upon leaving, we bumped into someone on the street who mentioned they had also been treated with disrespect and no longer frequent this establishment.
French fries are fresh
Salad took longer to come out than the burgers and sandwiches BUT the everything on the salad is freshley cut (kiwi and strawberry mango saald with grilled chicken
We got a side of fried zucchini and they are full of flavor.
Definitely would recommend for a quick stop to eat
This is way overpriced for very lackluster food. They also chuckled when I asked if my total was for only one shwarma. You can get this same meal almost anywhere else for half the price (it’ll taste better anywhere else too).
Also, the entire thing fell apart as I picked it up.
I called them to ask what was going on because this experience was starting to upset me. The kid on the phone said “we’re usually making breakfast at this time”. What sort of excuse is that?
This was bad food.
