I came in here for a second afternoon because they’re only open from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. most of the time and I’m happy I was able to catch them to grab a quick taste of Italy. We stopped in thinking this was a second location to the Taste of Italy located on Hwy 92 in Woodstock. Apparently once upon a time they were the same, but have been under different ownership for 16 years. Anyway, enough storytime, onto the food.
We ordered a large Caesar salad and margherita pizza to share. Both were average at best. The salad was the most basic Caesar salad on the planet. Big pieces of romaine, hardly sprinkled with a dash of Kraft Parmesan cheese, and very dainty croutons. The pizza dough was good-ish, but hardly any toppings on it. Luckily I had some Caesar dressing left to add some flavor. The red pepper flakes were definitely past their prime. Rubbery and plastic like. Maybe they were a prop from the Barbie movie? If I came back, I would not get the margherita pizza. It looks good in the picture, however, the taste wasn’t nearly what it seems. But in all honesty I probably won’t be back. I think there is a Marcos pizza next door if you’re in the neighborhood and have a pizza craving.

Solid authentic pizza. Friendly staff. Clean establishment. Extra toppings are a little
pricey, but overall, deserves the 4 stars. Specialty pizzas and other items on menu sound good. I’ll try those next time.

OMG!! What an authentically fantastic Italian pizza. We have said for years we needed to get a pizza from Taste of Italy and made the decision to pick one up today. So will be my first pizza choice going forward. We got the white pizza with a side of marinara. Cannot write a higher recommendation.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT eat at this establishment. Our bill was over $100! They gave us 2 large pizzas instead of 2 slices. When I called, I got the runaround which leads to me to believe that no one at this establishment cares about Customer Service whatsoever. The garlic knots have about 10 cloves of RAW garlic, so unless you’re summoning a vampire, do not order. The lasagna tasted like a can of spaghetti O’s and the white pizza tasted like freezer burn frozen broccoli. We own a small business and support whoever we can, whenever we can. This is absolutely unacceptable.
