I recommend this bar if you’re looking for cheap and tasty cocktails in the area. I haven’t tried their food but their Coppertone cocktail is my favorite. The vibe on the inside is very interesting. If you’re looking to hangout with friends, don’t sit on the couches because it’s too loud there. Definitely a place worth checking out though. Also sometimes they check IDs to get in.

I went to House of Charm for the first time with my partner and we were excited to go to a dive bar known as an LGBTQAI+ inclusive space. As we entered, the live music was great and the aesthetic was on point. Unfortunately, the bar was a different experience.
The bartender who served me was extremely rude. They failed to acknowledge my existence, as I stood at the bar with my credit card in hand, as they past directly in front of me four different times to greet and chat with other customers. They then acknowledged me and said “I’ll be right with you,” to only check a cell phone next to the cash register. It took me 5 minutes to get two drinks at a bar with less than a half dozen clients.
They made my drinks, which were average, and my partner and I continued to enjoy the music and aesthetic.
When ordering our second round of drinks, the rudeness continued. After being ignored various times, the bartender came up to me, greeted me, and then said “one moment” and preceded to look at a text message from another customer we arrived after me. These drinks, like the first time, took me five minutes to receive and with the same amount of customers at the bar.
The music and atmosphere are nice, but be careful about who may be behind the bar.

We ❤️ HOC! Such a fun vibe, great drinks, good music, and very clean. The owners Pete and Sam are hospitable and friendly. Gabe the bartender is wonderful. This is definitely a place everyone should try. Enjoy the eclectic decor, fun lights, and delicious drinks. ***Also try the Mac & Cheese in a mug. You’ll thank us later.

Seven dollars for a shot and a pony beer! Great bar with a cool vibe. Green tea shots are perfect and only $4. Janelle is an absolute doll – if she’s tending bar, you’re going to have great drinks and great service.

If you’re planning a trip to Buffalo, then House of Charm is a must see bar. The ambiance is awesome, very chill vibes, and cool bartenders. Drinks were on point as well. Nothing beats grabbing some beef jerky at the bar too.

Great drinks for a fair price! Vast selection of liquor. Very eclectic vibe. Pool table is a nice touch from the original owners. Wanted a sandwich but got a dismissive attitude so I didn’t get said sandwich.

I was fortunate enough to work with Sam to host my 30th at HOC, who in turn did his best to makes sure the event went perfectly.
Atmosphere was awesome and the bar itself is beautiful. Drinks and food were great(I recommend the charcuterie boards) and staff, bartenders and security were all friendly and accommodating.
I’d definitely recommend HOC for an event or as a weekend spot in downtown buffalo.
