This place has by far the best burger in the temple/belton region! The building has a quaint charm about it and boasts what must be original wood floors from when it opened. The food was fresh and delicious, the price was phenomenal, and the staff was incredibly friendly! They even have play toys out for those who (like me) have toddlers that can’t seem to sit still. The only downside to eating here was walking out and seeing the business is set to be auctioned off! Gems like this should be around forever!

My experience at French Quarter Cafe was most certainly an enjoyable one. I got the classic cheeseburger and it was delicious. I feel like the patties are a bit thin(I’ll get an extra one next time). We had the apple cobbler for dessert and it was very enjoyable. I got here just in time to catch the warming up of a band. The place has a very nice atmosphere. Also the Elvis memorabilia was a nice touch seeing that we share the same hometown! Will be back.

If ur in the mood for some good frito pie, well-cooked juicy burgers and out this world onions and more, then u should definitely stop or call in an order for jaw-smacking, finger-licking meals! Staff is always so nice and friendly and have music by live amateur bands, soloists, etc… certain times. A good place to relax, eat and listen to the music or play some table games too.

What used to be one of my favorite spot in Temple is a spot I no longer frequent unless out of total desperation. A dispute over their online price versus what they charged me on a visit totally soured me on the spot even though work directly next door.

Loved the food great fries, fresh made burgers with all you favorite toppings, they have it all… I’d give them an extra five stars if they had fried fish

Great atmosphere and people. Only one problem asked for bacon cheeseburger without pickles and it had pickles. Other than that great eats

I gave this 4 starts, but that kind of depends on the mood. This is a bit of a greasy spoon type of restaurant, but it has it’s own unique character that, when in the right mood, can’t be beat.
