We had a great experience at Ladda Thai House! The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish tasted authentic and well-balanced.

The service was just as wonderful friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.

We walked there, so I’m not sure about the parking situation, but everything about the food and service made it worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Service was great, friendly staff. Had the beef massaman curry and it was so delicious! It had a depth of flavor that showed it was definitely slow cooked, the beef was super tender, and the curry gave it a mild sweetness for a savory-sweet knockout flavor. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Cool restaurant, like the Thai decorations. I had Tom Kha Gai. I’m used to them being mildly or moderately sweet. This one tasted very sweet, sweeter than I normally eat. It was still good though, I’d like to get it again.

We ordered takeout from here and it was super solid! The pads see you was well made, the papaya salad had that spice, but wasn’t over the top. We weren’t super appreciative of the small dried shrimp in there, though the crab fried wontons were more like purses, deep-fried, super thick with a really good filling. I think we like the wings the best! They were awesome, huge and very flavorful.

Vegetarian Food Review: I am so glad I went there and they are open late night. Phew. I went back here after 2 years and the food flavors felt lovely. I really enjoyed the tofu and garlic as well as the tofu skewers. The wafers with skewers had very odd and stale taste (my friend is also a cordon bleu chef who said same)

I am not a great fan of soft tofu but alas since there is cross contamination in frying oil I had to settle for soft tofu. I wish restaurants would understand that vegetarians cannot digest animal fat from oil. I will change my review when I am assured that the oil has been separated because the vegan and vegetarian food is not vegan and vegetarian if animal fat is involved.

The service is GREAT and I look forward to going back to try more things on their vegetarian section. The vibe is cool too.

Excellent food and service! We just went to Ladda for the first time and have tried many Thai restaurants throughout Portland. We were bringing food over to a friend’s house and they recommended Ladda. One of our friends had very specific dietary restrictions, which Ladda happily accommodated. My wife and I got the Spicy Coconut Soup and House Special Curry and both were fantastic! Very flavorful, my soup was quite spicy (as ordered), and we will definitely be back for more from Ladda! I’ve pretty much narrowed down the Thai restaurants I go to, but Ladda will now be on the list! Also their staff is very friendly and helpful.

The best Thai in Portland. We had several fried rice options, so tasty! The Garb salad was absolutely perfect and the various soup cant be beat! We have our new fave place and I couldn’t recommend it more strongly. Can’t wait to go back

I dont do this very often but I decieded to go over the bridge and try a new Thai restaurant. I got take away.
Ordered Kang Tae Po curry with tempeh no bell peppers no potatoes. And an order of fresh wrapped with tofu.
I was going to order the garden vegan curry but after chatting with the nice woman that works there or is the owner… and she said if I didnt like sweet curry id be better off ordering the Kang Tae Po Curry. I requested 5 on the spice scale which is the highest
Omg it was just sweet zero spice. Also their was very minimal veggies.. perhaps two bok choys and a handful of tempeh. Nothing eles so your left with a whole bowl of curry and nothing eles and its thick and no spice. Not pleasant at all. And not healthy. The fresh wrapped were average much better then some I’ve had over the years but they didnt wow me either. As I sit here feeling like I need to eat some lemon or salad and drink some hot tea to flush out the sugar from the curry.
Another try in the future and ill update but im sure it won’t be for a while
The second star is for the genuinely nice lady that assisted me with my order.

So delicious and fresh! Love when Thai food doesn’t taste greasy. The servers are also phenomenal and so kind! We asked for things with very little spice and all of our dishes came out perfectly.
