This Subway is pretty standard when it comes to food quality and taste — no complaints there. What stood out to me, though, was how the place operates. Online orders are clearly prioritized over in-person ones, which just feels backwards.
This is a downtown location with heavy lunch traffic from the skyways and the Children’s Museum next door, so it gets busy. The store itself is large, but only two employees were working and they were completely overwhelmed. People in line waited and waited while online orders were packed up first — probably because that’s what the staff are instructed to do — but it’s not a great business model.
Subway really needs to staff up. Have one person dedicated to online orders and others focused on the in-person rush so everyone leaves happy (and fed). There were a lot of frustrated parents and hungry kids, and unfortunately the staff took the brunt of it. They were doing their best, but they needed more help.
Managers and owners — please, do better for your team and your customers.

Well, the customer service sucks and I was extremely disrespected. I went there at about 4:45 and told them I would be there long enough to eat my sandwhich and leave. They knew I was not going to be there long. I got half way through my meal and as soon as 5:00 on the dot came around the guy working there started harassing me expecting me to just wrap up my half eaten meal and leave right then and there. He was super disrespectful and unprofessional. Telling me “It’s after hours, I don’t have to act professionally with you”, while also being on the clock I mind you. I have worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years of my life, there are no excuses as to why I could not finnish my sandwhich in peace and leave. No need for all this, “I will call security B.S”. I am a paying customer and I was not there for any more than 5 minutes past 5. Had I been there for a half hour I could see it being an issue, but there are no excuses for harassing your customers when they alreay paid for their food, sat down and ate half their meal. No excuses. Terrible customer service. 2/10. The only reason they even get a rating is because his co – worker was nice when making my sadnwhich. My suggestion is eat at the Afro Deli & Grill or the pillbox. They are open later and you want to spend your Money somewhere where you will be respected.

On 10/11, my family and I came in for lunch after the children’s museum. There were 2 younger gentlemen working and an older woman. The guys were absolutely great but the woman was extremely rude. She was cranky, disrespectful and snappy to the customers. She was unsanitary by leaning on the counter where food goes but yet demanded the guys to wash hands when they left the line. She was throwing knives around and actually tossed my sandwich down the line. Won’t be coming back to this location. We left a tip and I really hope it goes to the two guys working today. Derrick and the other younger guy, I didn’t catch his name.

Yesterday we ordered sandwiches just to be told they had no bread. Today we ordered sandwiches and both arrived completely wrong each with fully incorrect ingredients, and we were missing chips and a beverage.

I have never been so disrespected in my life by Tina who was in charge tonight. They made the mistake and messed up my food. I came back to register in a very polite way just to get my food snatched from me and told that oh well we can’t help you basically. I told Tina that I didn’t live in the area and she did not care. I am expecting a call back from the manager about this terrible customer service. I work in the food industry and I would never treat people that way. She does not deserve a job if she can’t just be nice to people. Like who messes up someone’s whole order and and acts like it was my fault. I am completely appalled.

I go here often, I like the staff, they care about doing a good job here. The owner also appears to be very hands-on, which is why it probably runs so well with the regular staff.
