Stopped in with my friend a late evening around 7pm on a November Saturday, We got sat right away.
I got a coconut margarita and it was great! I also got a chimichanga to eat and it was really good!

Daytime stop at La Vecina and honestly… Adrienne behind the bar made the entire experience. The taco was great, but the margarita absolutely stole the show — fresh, perfectly balanced, and one of those drinks you keep thinking about after you leave.
Adrienne is not only super friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable about alcohol. She clearly knows her stuff and took the time to make thoughtful recommendations, which made the bar experience feel elevated without being pretentious.
We’ll definitely be back — and it’s because of her. Day or night, if Adrienne’s behind the bar, it’s worth the stop.

Nice atmosphere, service was good but there is room for improvement regarding the food. The tortillas were almost raw, the esquite lacked flavor, the salsa that comes with the chips had a very good flavor. Margaritas 6/10

This place was such a great find! We were greeted warmly when coming in and boy did we appreciate that on a rainy day. We decided to sit at the bar and Adrienne made us feel so welcome! She made great food and drink recommendations. We’re here in Newport for a few more days and will absolutely be back!

My friend and I loved this place! We each got a delicious cocktail and, thanks to our wonderful server, were able to try both the carnitas and al pastor nachos! The meats were so flavorful, as was everything else loaded on! Definitely recommend!

This is a great place! The staff were so friendly, I got super wine recommended from vast wine menu at the neighboring Italian restaurant, and the tacos were great! Highly recommend the fish tacos and the squash mushroom tacos. We ate a lot of the tortilla chips with guacamole that we ordered as an appetizer. Highly recommend this place. If you eat less of that you can order and try more taco options!

It’s a cozy, casual spot with a beautiful aesthetic—the colorful, hand-painted art on the walls really adds personality and makes the space feel warm and vibrant. We came in for a quick bite and loved the street tacos—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The hibiscus lemonade was also a standout—refreshing and not too sweet, just what we needed. Great food, cool vibe, and friendly service—we’ll definitely be back!

I wish I knew our servers name because she was sooo amazing! She was so friendly and helpful throughout our meal. And the food was actually incredible. The salsa was like I’ve never had before and the entrees were also so good. We also had cucumber spicy margaritas and they were so big and refreshing. I’ve only been once but this is my new favorite restaurant!!!!
