Pros:

This was a dirty, weird dining experience which I was so disappointed, I wanted to share with you. First, it was 2pm on a Friday and we walked in to an empty and dark dining room. The furniture is not like as pictured. It was mismatched, old and there was dirty plates still left in a booth. Dueling TV’s were blaring different shows and the server looked disheveled. I wanted to leaved, but my husband wanted to have a nice Italian sandwich before proceeding to the Greenbrier. We ordered and I wanted a Greek salad and my husband a “Pizza Steak Sub”. Our order went in and and she came out with my salad, which was fresh and nice, but no mention of my husband’s sub. 5 minutes later, she goes over to the cash register, takes out some money and leaves out the front door. Still waiting, and at this time we figured that she was going to the local grocery store to get something for his sandwich. Came back in the side door and into the kitchen. 5 more minutes we got up and my husband said we were leaving. She said she was going to put his sandwich in a to go box. He agreed, cuz he’s nice, and we left. When he opened the box, there was a burnt, cheeseless sub. The meat had gotten overcooked while she was out getting who knows what. I am shocked she still charged us for garbage. Save yourself some heartache and go elsewhere. There are other very nice places in White Sulphur springs.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT. WE WAITED
OVER 4 HOURS TO RECEIVE OUR ORDER.
A group of friends and I were in West Virginia for
vacation and ordered dinner from here. When we went
to the restaurant to pick up the meal at the time
indicated by our email (about 30mins after ordering),
they apologized and said it would not be ready for
another hour or so. They promised to call with updates.
After an additional 1.5 hours of waiting we called and
they said sorry the food is taking longer than expected.
After another 1.5 hours we called again and they told us
they had not started our order. At this point the
restaurant was about to close. They promised they
would make our food and refund us for our over 3 hour
wait. We continued to wait for a call, which we never
received so went to the restaurant for a second time
and found the food was not ready. We waited another
45 minutes before the food was ready. They again
promised to refund us. However their definition of
“refund” was 15% off. On top of that, the food was
mediocre at best. Unless you have 4-5 hours to wait for
a meal, avoid this establishment. My friends and I will
never be back due to the horrific customer service here.

I have ordered food from here two times. The first time the food was great. We had a pizza and bread sticks.
This last time I ordered a to go order of a meat lovers pizza,bread sticks and onion rings. I waited there for my order.
I had a 15 minute drive back. Not long enough to dry out food.
The pizza was over done and looked like it had been made and left out a few hours. The onion rings were burnt. The bread sticks where the only thing worth eating. Was definitely a waste of $35.
Maybe they were having a bad day, I’m not sure.
The restaurant was clean and the waitress was friendly.

I will be reporting this to the health department due to the bug that was found in my salad
The food was terrible. Every time I order from here my order is always made wrong. The food is always either cold/old or isn’t cooked right.
The manger wasn’t willing to work with me when I complained and they just tried to offer me a credit. I don’t ever want to eat here again. And you shouldn’t either.
The prices are way too high for garbage food that don’t even taste nor is cooked right.
I’m a manager of a Chick-fil-A and I know food quality and safety.
The food they served me wasn’t safe to eat. The fries were old and soggy and the lettuce in the salad was welted and old.

Our waitress forgot a couple drinks and some of our orders got a little mixed up, but we had a rather large group, and she was friendly and quick to fix whatever we needed.
There was a toddler running around in the kitchen though…
and since he was in the kitchen, I assumed he was with someone who works there.
I don’t know the situation or why the child was there… maybe they had to bring him. Things happen. I understand that. I just wasn’t crazy about him running around in the kitchen.
Overall, our waitress was nice & friendly, and the food was delicious!

This place is great! Excellent and friendly service! Usually places that have large menus and serve everything are mediocre, but this place completely surprised me. The pizza here will put many pizza places to shame in the DMV area. That egg washed crust is something special. Delicious.
Very clean restaurant, plenty of seating. And the prices are very fair.
