Such a lovely experience! Joselyn at the register was sweet and welcoming. I asked her for a recommendation and she suggested the Carne Asada Torta with extra avocado and mayo — it was AMAZING. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the inside was so beautiful and creative. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was perfect! Definitely coming back!

We tried the tostadas and tacos and they were delicious (especially the chicken tostadas) and full of flavor. Our kids also love the popsicles and being able to watch the trains from here. We will try the ice cream and desserts next time. Highly recommended.

You can’t find tacos like these anywhere else in the entire east coast. You simply cannot, and even if you try, you will not.
They have a wide variety of foods too, not just tacos. Their pozole is also pretty good, and they have tostadas you can always customize. Somewhat wide selection of drinks. Pretty clean restaurant too!
Ever since I found out they had an actual building in Kensington out of all neighborhoods, I knew I had to go. I used to walk over to their food truck during a rough spot in my life and there was nothing else to comfort me but their amazing food at the time. That’s a lot of weight to put on a restaurant, and Don Perez couldn’t have held it up better.
The food over here is absolutely amazing, and full of flavor. I’ve tried out many taco restaurants in my life and none of them can possibly compare to these. I would literally travel continents if it meant that at the end of that road I can get some of these tacos.

Finally, I got to try this place as it has been on the top of my list!! Tacos were delicious and flavorful. The food had a very authentic Mexican feel & flavor. I don’t love the prepackaged salsas.
Wish they had a non-doritos option for the tosti-locos (doritos have gluten). My husband tried them and thought they were good.
Nacho plate was good, a little over-sauced.
Drinks were delicious!! Definitely will return.

Their food is always delicious. It also must be particular to a region I’m not familiar with, because they have menu items I have but seen elsewhere. So delightful to explore and I’m excited to return again and learn more. I’ll also have to ask more questions – everyone there is so friendly and open.

I think I have to go back to try more things on their menu to have a better opinion. But I did like what I tried, especially the quesadilla. The meat was very flavorful. The tacos were good but I think I’ve tried better.
The pre packaged sauces threw me off a little bit but they were yummy.
I also enjoyed the aguas frescas, very flavorful and not too sweet.
The space is nicely decorated, the staff were friendly.
They also have a bunch of dessert options but I will try those next time I go back.

Really tasty vegan tacos. I tried the mushroom, squash blossom and the Huitlacoche and all three were delicious.
