The gentleman who made our sandwiches was incredible friendly. However, the older, short lady was very rude to him… demeaning him in front of customers. It made it awkward and my husband and I felt bad for him. She needs a vacation… or training on how to be a better co-worker. The guy working with her must have the patients of a saint.

Walked in the door- one person in front of us. The person making sandwiches- “do you have an online order?” We did not. Immediately he started “well it’s going to be a 10-15 minute wait.” Incredibly rude. He didn’t say hi how are you? He acted like he was annoyed we walked in – we left. Learn how to talk to people. We wouldn’t have minded waiting, it was the way we were spoken to. Try again.

I have been to the Lancaster subway on river valley twice now both times I had been serviced by a gentleman named Rich , he has positive energy while working no matter the circumstances (busy or dead) , he makes great conversation after the second time I want to come back not only for the food but for the service. Another Lancaster area Subway that doesn’t take coupons. Unfortunately this time they didn’t tell me until after the gentleman behind the counter, who did a tremendous job, was finished making the sandwich. I’m not going to even get into how absurd it is that they don’t take coupons but the fact that there is no sign or indication that they don’t is unacceptable. It’s the only reason I even go to Subway to begin with and I do not appreciate being bullied into paying for their over priced and mediocre product because they can’t post a sign stating they do not accept coupons.

This is the BEST Subway I’ve ever been to. If it wasn’t for this location I wouldn’t eat Subway at all. The food here is always fresh and the employees are always so nice! I’ve never had a bad experience here at this location. I feel like it’s family owned because the service is always amazing here and that usually means the employees are treated well!! Keep it up!
