Stopped by Enoki Eatery last week during our cruise stop in Sitka. This was one of the food highlights of our entire week. We had the popcorn chicken and onigiri, both were delicious. Generous portion sizes too! The owner was delightful and passionate about the food.

The woman who runs it is so sweet and kind always!! As a veggie lover the fried cauliflower (it may even be vegan too I’d have to check), and my husband loves the musubi. Check out this truck it’s awesome!

Gretchen, the owner, is the chef. She makes the best fried cauliflower I’ve ever had, and it’s vegan! The Cole slaw is delicious as well. The dish has an accompaniment of rice as well. Nice to find a trailer where the owner is the cook.

So, I am kind of a Bao Bun addict, not in a bad way… I have had some that are bad, I mean no effort at all and some that are spectacular. This review is definitely the latter. I just had the BBQ pork Bao Bun from Enoki Eatery in Sitka, AK. Oh my! I waited 15 minutes while fresh buns were prepared. The wait was totally worth it! When I came back to the window I was asked if I wanted the crispy garlic pepper on it. I said yes. You should say yes too. The sweet BBQ pork and the steamed bun with the hot crispy garlic comes alive in your mouth. I have found my go to spot for amazing flavor. Wow, just wow.
