Porteous Acres has quickly become our favorite spot for both breakfast and lunch in town since they opened! We love that they source locally—it’s so nice to go out and eat something that’s just as healthy and thoughtfully prepared as what we cook ourselves. And it’s sooo delicious!
The kids’ section makes it my son’s personal favorite. It’s rare to find a restaurant where he can have fun and be engaged while I actually get to have a conversation as an adult. The cute kids’ kitchen area keeps him happily occupied so I can enjoy a spacious knowing he’s stimulated too.
We can’t recommend Porteous Acres enough—amazing food, thoughtful sourcing, great humans and a welcoming space for both kids and adults with beautiful decor!

Was at a Christmas event in Middlesboro tonight. Stopped into Porteous Acres to get food but my grandson wasn’t cooperative. Had a cup of coffee that was excellent. The owners are very, very nice and super kind. I have eaten here before also and the food was fresh and delicious. We’ll stop in one afternoon after the baby has had his nap.

This deli is a cut above, you can tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation of their food. They have exceptional food, tea, and dessert options. It’s a must try for their bread and dip. Wonderful people as well.

Attended their soft opening and it was a great experience. The owner might actually be superwoman, starting her businesses and growing her family all at one time. The food was amazing and it was just such a bright and happy atmosphere. Can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a great addition to our growing mainstreet.
