I “LOVE” this location now!!!
This is my preferred store. I live very close by and this is the store that I prefer to come to and have been coming to for years, until I had to switch locations because the male manager before the new crew was horrible. HE WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. HE DIDN’T MIND ARGUING; EVEN WHEN HE WAS WRONG.
You did not know if you were going to get into an argument or not; when going there, He allowed them to be just as rude as he was. He would let you know that he was frustrated and tired because he was overworked from being short staffed. They would stare at you and not greet you. They would walk away from you. They will get your order wrong and you would have to decide to either tell them or deal with it because you didn’t want to argue.

On the brighter side, The new staff with Sierra and Lizz, the morning crew is absolutely beautiful. That is the time that I usually visit the store so I can speak for that crew.
Those two ladies AND the entire staff are always pleasant.
I said “always pleasant” , never a bad experience. Their customer service is unspeakable, something that no longer exists.
They didn’t have an ingredient one day so they suggested that I substitute it with a different ingredient. I tried it and I loved it and so now there is a new smoothie called the morning crew smoothie .
The staff is always pleasant.
The vibe is pleasant, no matter how busy they are.
The store is clean. I eat there at least once a week, if not more.
I can attest from my personal experience that the store has improved greatly!!!!!!!
Congratulations on the come up (Tropical Smoothie, Redford)! This is now my favorite store again!

On 2/16/26. I placed an order online to be picked up at 11:35. When got to the store and pulled to the drive up speaker I was told by the manager that my order can’t be filled due there not being any cups and I said then I need a refund then she proceeded to be rude and unprofessional and lacked customer service. She claimed it will take 2-3 days to get a refund. I stated I wanted a receipt which I got but nowhere did it say a refund on it. Or would be processed. Then when I called back at 545 pm the person answered the phone and I asked for Eric whom another employee had told me he was another manager. The same unprofessional lady from earlier today said he wasn’t there and wasn’t going to be there. And she asked if she could help me and I asked her if she was the same person from this morning and if she was then No she can’t help me . She literally called me by name and said oh this must Joi and stated I’m glad you know my name and then she proceeded to say Eric can’t help me and the hung up. I want my money back its that simple !

Although I had to wait around 25 minutes to get my smoothie, I just want to shout out to the 2 young ladies that were working. They were taking orders in drive thru , in house and preparing the food and smoothies.
Although I felt that was to much for the 2 ladies to be doing, they were nice and polite. They were apologetic and really working hard trying to get the orders out.
I commend them for that.

This is truly the worst Tropical smoothie in Michigan. Most of the time I decide to even go to this one they don’t have something, or aren’t able to serve people or are closed for that time. They can take a minute to get the food out when they actually are finally taking costumers. It’s just sad.

I purchased a bowl and I could the number of blueberries and strawberries that was put on top. When she added more now it was enough granola. I asked her to make another one and this time this one didn’t have any syrup on it just a bunch of fruit on top of yogurt and granola. Not to mention my smoothie was so thick I had to let it melt so I could drink it. And what is that smell when u walk in. Definitely do not waiste your time going to this location find another one. I used to come to this location and it has definitely went down. I will not be returning.

I was promised a refund a month ago because I got the wrong order. I even spoke to the GM at this store. Never got my refund, and I was nothing but pleasant with them after already wait over a week the first time they promised a refund. Do not recommend this location at all. Absolutely pathetic service.

The smell in the store was awful smelled like a spoiled or bad mop. Please supply the store with a fresh mop and good soap for floor and see if that helps with the smell

Where are the adults? My food was made incorrectly. A caesar wrap with no Caesar dressing ?! Who is training the workers? this is horrible and I will never return. I blame whoever is running this location for the poor customer experiences. Train the workers correctly, have at least 1 person every shift that knows how to make everything I. The menu

Worst of the worst. They never have main ingredients that require the store to run. They wont cancel your online orders so then you are charged for it automatically. This isn’t the first time. At this point I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Fire the whole staff.
