Please realize that this review is 3 yrs old and the review does not apply to this restaurant today! This was my first time being a patron of this establishment and was expecting the worst to be honest. I ordered the Seafood Platter with two pieces of fish, six shrimp, fried okra and coleslaw. The platter itself was full to the brim, but, each item taste seemed to be the same. The order was filled in record time. I have been looking for a seafood location, so, I guess I may frequent this place, because, fast food seafood restaurants aren’t plentiful in this area (The Northeast).

I always get the shrimp plate with fries and hush puppies. It’s my favorite fried seafood! I actually don’t like fried seafood very much, but I loooove this places! It’s always so fresh and satisfying. I can usually half of it and save the rest for later. It’s a lot of food for the price. These fries are my favorite!

First time at the restaurant. I ordered Shrimp and Scallops lunch special. It came with hush puppies and fries. The shrimp was perfect. Great taste as were the hush puppies. The scallops breading was soggy and the fries were oily (oil logged). First impressions is everything. I was disappointed. I may go back in the future to see if I get better results.

Their food is very good but I gave them 3 stars because the food is normally very greasy. Maybe they just need to drain it a little longer however, I take my food home and use paper towel to soak up some of the grease. After that, I devour my food.

Their seafood used to be delicious. Unfortunately, the whiting was rubbery and tasted old like it was kept too long. Also, the french fries were very oily. The scallops were not fresh as well. This was money wasted because I had to throw the rest into the garbage. So sad. Please do better. You just lost a customer.

Have a wide variety of fish. Their catfish, flounder and whiting are delicious. All of their fish is fried and can come with fries or hush puppies or whatever side you want. They prepare everything as you wait and do a good job. Their batter is very flavorful and they put a lot of tlc into their cooking. Great place for fried fish.

Absolutely need help with how to run a business. The food has gotten better. Hush puppies still too greasy but the fish is not overly salted now. The wait times are way too long and you can hardly get a call through. You can be put on hold for 30 minutes or more. I’ve been on hold for 30 and went there and was still on hold. When I mentioned it THE lady got really nasty about me mentioning it. I’m done with this place. I’ll continue to drive across town to Clifton Seafood.

I really enjoyed our dinner. The whitting filets were seasoned perfectly. The fries were hot and tasty. The coleslaw was delicious. I usually don’t eat hush puppies because they are usually just a bland space filler on the plate. However, these hush puppies were awesome. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We’re going back!!!
