Wing Boss, is a Dickey’s family restaurant brand starring pit-smoked wings. With our history of delivering Legit Texas Barbecue, we are taking this heritage and applying it to smoked chicken wings. Our chicken wings are perfectly smoked, then fried and tossed in one of our signature sauces or rubs. Available in Group Packs, Combos or By the Piece, you can sink your teeth into bone-in or boneless chicken that are pit-smoked over hickory wood.

We ordered wings from Wing Boss, which operates out of Dicky’s Barbecue Pit Shop, and were shocked to find that out of our order, only four pieces were actual wings—the rest were all drumsticks. We had requested the sauce to be applied to the wings, but it was delivered on the side instead. The fried chicken was hard and had an unpleasant texture, making it difficult to eat. Overall, we were really disappointed with the taste and quality of the chicken. However, the fries and vegetable sticks were good and came in a generous portion.

Unfortunately, we striked out here. The wings are decent (although we ordered sauce on the side and they were instead dressed and drenched in sauce). But the problem was the 3 sides of veggies (celery sticks and carrots) we ordered which were an additional cost each. The picture explains it all… I would not recommend this spot. If you want a so so wing- not a bad joint for that. But definitely don’t order the veggies.

The wings are decent. Better than many other wing places. We ordered 4 different wing sauces and only got two sauces. Ordered 3 orders of fries and one of them was wrong. Also the servings were small on the fries.

I had an online order for boneless wings, half parmesan and half buffalo, with a side of fries. The receipt on the bag had everything listed correctly. However, the wings were traditional (not boneless), one of the sauces was wrong, we had to toss the wings in the sauce ourselves, and there were maybe 10 fries in the order (that cost almost $5 by themselves). We will not be going back.

It was ok. The wings are pretty small and were tough, like they had been prepped a while ago. The fries were a little soggy too. We had a delivery order and didnt get the vegetable sticks and we only got one (1) roll from a 6 roll order.
But, when I called about the order issue, the person on the phone was very helpful and got the missing items right out to us.
The sauces were tasty, and the fries were better after warming them in the air fryer.
If the wings were bigger, not so tough, it would have been a great meal, but, for almost $70 it should have been much better.

My girl friend and I could not find the restaurant, just for us to call and ask where it is at. It was inside dickeys barbecue pit, we had a specific order of wings and whoever the cook was did not put the sauce on the wings and just gave us a containers instead of how it looked on the menu. Wings tasted like it was undercooked and was tough. All in all not a good experience.
