My husband went and picked up our daughter’s cake on 1/24/26. It was nothing like he ordered. He ordered a Moana cake and said he wanted all the characters on it. He used a picture I found specifically off their website. They gave us a Moana cake but nothing like he ordered. It was a baby Moana and all photo type pictures with only the bay Moana. So not worth $140 dollars. The cake was supposed to be half pineapple half caramel and they mixed the two together instead. He came to the car and called to speak to the owner who was there when he was in there two seconds before and the staff refused him to speak with her. He called back a second time and again refused him to speak with owner. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. If that’s how owner let their employees talk to paying customers you will not get very far. Yes my husband is Dominican and I speak Spanish as well so it’s not a language barrier. Do better because your rude staff will not keep your business. You lost customers. The cake wasn’t nothing that we ordered. We wanted all the characters and the older Moana. We never requested a baby Moana cake. Not worth the time and aggravation.

If your looking for a great dominican bakery, this is your place to go! My son’s 2nd bday cake was PEFECTION. They can replicate any inspiration picture you send them and have a wide variety of flavors on their menu. Prices are high but worth the quality. I would suggest going into the store to make the order, as communicating via social/WhatsApp takes a few days for responses.

Cake was bought for a birthday party. Had some brown and red frosting. The colored frosting was really bitter and tasted really bad. I don’t know what kind of food coloring makes frosting super bitter and nasty but this made the cake horrible. The design was pretty but the taste of the frosting ruined it for me. The cake is also extremely sugary.

I tried 3 different slices of cake. Pineapple, Guava and Chocolate. I have had Dominican cake from every bakery in Lawrence and this one is up there within the top 3. I did read some bad reviews but based on what l saw and tasted, they have much improved. Nice lady described all her cakes sold by slice. The taste and texture amazing and traditional. Definitely give them a try you won’t regret it.

I went in on a Saturday (which they don’t take orders for cakes on this day) and just wanted to ask a few questions on how I can order a cake for my son’s birthday which was a month away, (just comparing taste and quality between different bakeries that were suggested by my friends) and she told me I couldn’t ask, and that I should come back Monday to make my order. But I didn’t want to make an order, I just wanted to ask some questions like “ how long before the event Can i order, Can they make sugar free cake for a diabetic etc.” the worker embarrassed me in front of another costumer. Really nice place. But the employees need an attitude change for the better. They can’t pick and choose who to be polite to. I just had a few questions.

I will NEVER give them my business!! They are very unprofessional. I tried to place and order a week in advance I was told I was earlier to do so, that I needed to come back mid week. I didn’t understand why she couldn’t take my order and just pull it out when it was due – but I ok’d her. I then processed to ask her if she can look at the cake I was considering to see if she can even so it. She rolled her eyes gave me an attitude as if I was bothering her and said “FINE” looked at it and told me I would need to bring her the colors I was requesting because she didn’t have them and quoted me an extreme price. That’s when I knew this was NOT the bakery I was going to give my money too. Took my business elsewhere, and I’m glad I did. I got the cake I wanted did not have to go buy the colors and the price was a lot lower then what she quote me.

Cute little bakery on Essex Street in Lawrence, Ma. Went there to pick up my cousins wedding cake that was pre-ordered and paid. They were running a little late but did everything exactly as expected. The cake was absolutely amazing and fresh. The frosting was perfectly smooth and not too sweet. I would definitely recommend them!

I went there to design a birthday cake. Poor customer service and no patience at all. They gave me a hard time and they didn’t understand my requirements for the cake design. I had a drawn out image for the cake I wanted and they drew theirs completely different than what I had designed. So I decided not to follow through with them. I’m sure their cakes taste delicious though too bad they scared me off.

A couple of years back, I fell in love with their cakes because to me it taste like the true dominican cake back home. I have been buying their cakes for a while now and am sad to say that their cake and service has changed a lot over the years. Like most great places, they started off strong and after business growth their yummy cakes are blah, in my opinion, the cakes are not the same. Some employees are friendly, on a busy day they are moody, impatient and rude, but there are bad days. What bothers me more is that their cakes dont taste as good anymore but same price$$
