Had the lamb burger with fries and was amazing! The food selection here is very unique and def. stands up to foods of the Irish culture. Waiter was very nice and the atmosphere was very relaxing having live music behind us most of the meal. Great place overall.

I’ve tried this place numerous times and it’s always a disappointment. Every 6 months I try again hoping that things will improve but there’s always something new to disappoint me. The shepherd’s pie is terrible; No flavor and uncooked crunchy parsnips. I’m bewildered as to why they’ve won the best corned beef and cabbage in the WMUR poll. I’ve had it a couple times both in Franklin and at the old location in Bristol. The corned beef is okay, but the vegetables have zero flavor because they cook them separate from the corned beef therefore they’re not infused with that wonderful corned beef brine. That’s unacceptable coming from an Irish Pub.
Today, my girlfriend met her friends there for lunch. Her friend’s all got their food in a timely manner but her BLT took an hour, and their excuse was they had to cook the bacon. That might have been acceptable had they not BURNED THE BACON!! She brought it home to show me how bad it was, as you can see in the pic.

Sunday afternoon. Live music. Absolutely delicious house made food. Highly recommend the Reuben Egg rolls, the jalapeño poppers if they’re on special, the burgers, the carrot cake, the bread pudding, the fish sandwich, the martinis. It’s amazing.

They put us at a table at first that was clearly too small for our group. So 20-25 minutes or so after being there, another group left, we hadn’t gotten any appetizers or anything yet, so they moved us across the dining room to that table. The service was horrible! We had to ask and then wait multiple times for refills on our drinks. We had to ask multiple times for things that we had already asked for. My French onion soup was cold when I finally got it, my friends burger was literally still bleeding when they set his plate down. There was actually blood on the plate. Our friends dinner was given to another table so he ended up having to eat alone which wasn’t cool. I was invited by my friends so I didn’t feel like it was my place to say anything or complain. But, they were clearly not happy! The manager came to the table next to us a couple of times to ask how everything was for them, but never spoke to us.
If you’re looking for a place to sit at the bar with a friend and shoot the breeze, it might be a good spot. But I would not recommend this place if you’re trying to go out for a quick meal or for a nice meal with your family. Good Luck to you if you do!

We were allowed to get a table 30 mins before time of open! I love the vibe and the ambiance! Loved the gravy on the Poutine. I also was impressed with the presentation of the meal. Beef stew was my favorite!!

Industry worker here so I know accurate reviews are everything. This place was a nice suprise. Off day at my kitchen so naturally I found myself looking for an irish pub and found Waterhorse just in time for first call. I’m picky as hell with Guinness and they had a perfect pour, 10/10. I’m not a big fan of huge menus, but at the same time everything sounded awesome. I enjoyed the idea of a sampler for indecisive people like myself. Plenty of options all sounded tasty and I enjoyed reading through it all. We went with the fried Pickles. Highly suggest snacking on those. The horseradish aioli was perfect.
I had to try their fish and chips, the scooped chips were perfectly seasoned and hearty. Fish was light and crispy, normally I go for a thick crispy beer batter but their lighter recipe was really good. Wasn’t huge on the coleslaw, and the tartar was alright but I’m biased when it comes to my own stuff. It was perfectly fine and honestly I didn’t realt need either side or sauce cuz that fish was perfect. My partner got the smash burger and fries. Also awesome. Can’t go wrong with secret sauce and a smash patty.
I particularly enjoyed the little details this place had too. The painting above the bar and general esthetic was just the type of vibe I love sitting in. The burger bun stamp was a nice touch. Our bartender was fast and friendly. I’d love to go back on a busy night to see how things keep up, I’m sure fine. It seems like a really awesome place to have around town. Next time I pass through we will for sure be back. From one chef to another; great job yall. snagged some stickers and will be telling people to go check out Waterhorse if they are in the area. Much love from Coopershill crew ❤️ Sláinte!!!

Wonderful selections of beers, lagers, IPAs, red ales, etc. Food was superb. The owners had to wait on tables the day we visited, and they are delightful people. A worthy stop on your way to or from North-Central New Hampshire.

While visiting from Louisiana I ate here and it was absolutely delicious! I had the Salmon Napoleon, my daughter had Mushroom Ravioli and her boyfriend had the prime rib with mashed potatoes.
The service was also amazing!

We visited Saturday night around 7:00 pm. There were about 6 parties already seated and a sign at the door saying “please seat your self”. There were only 3 employees to been seen. One bartender and two servers. We were greeted promptly and a drink order taken within 5 minutes of being seated. The server was friendly and attentive. I was doubtful that these three employees would be able to keep all of their plates in the air on their own as the restaurant began to fill. Soon almost all tables were full, including the bar. We ordered the beer keg appetizer…it was simple but tasty. Servers were doing a remarkable job of keeping everyone happy and tables clear of dirty dishes and glasses. The bar was almost full with one bartender to keep track of her bar and make the drinks for the entire restaurant. We ordered bangers and mash with beans and split a large Caesar salad. Salads came out first and had plenty of dressing. My one complaint was that the croutons were very very soft. No crunch at all. Entrees arrived about 15 minutes later and piping hot. We were both happy with the meals. Tasty and unique. We took a sticky toffee pudding to go and rolled out while it was still quite busy. Service was terrific, and the food very good. We will be back for sure
