The vibe is western some nights the entertainment is karaoke. Food is good and well served. Drinks can use more liquor. Everything is priced fairly. It’s the place to be for bbq and nicely located in a large shopping area with free parking.

I’m from Texas so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was impressed with the food! Ribs were really tender and fell off the bone! The place is really well kept and we had a great server. My only complaint, and it’s small, is that the good was actually a bit too salty. Normally, food tends to be under seasoned so it was nice to have the flavors stand out, but it was just a bit too much.
As for the ambience, we want in the evening, and there’s no closed off indoor eating so it was a bit chilly. Definitely take a jacket if you’re going late. I also wish the lighting was a bit better. Still I definitely recommend going.

Great food and atmosphere. We had baby back ribs cooked just right & falling off the bone. And a pulled pork sandwich which was tender shreds of perfection piled high. Both meals came with sides. If you are in Rosarito it’s definitely worth it. They are located next to Home Depot and you can’t miss the smell in the air of smoked meat. FYI, they do accept credit cards.

Tried the food at this location for the first time. Unfortunately the chicken was very salty, so I was unable to eat it I tried . Ribs were ok, a little dry, maybe we got a bad day. The service was A+ and the atmosphere was nice too. Drinks, need to work on the red wine for the sangria, but piña colada was very good. Overall , it was good i still think their very first location in Valle was the best and excellent food. The la misión was good, and here maybe we’ll give it another try.

We had fun, it was busy, good music and energy. It’s brand new so there was some kinks, maybe could use some more staff for faster service, but food was good, and we enjoyed the night! Special shout-out to the waitress with the cowboy hat, she was very attentive and calm, im the busy environment.

Update: I ordered the beef ribs and was disappointed. Barely any meat and they weren’t smoked properly. The meat was no longer attached to the bone. Instead of smoked they seem braised. Need a new pit master. I won’t be returning. I was hoping the food would be good since I live nearby.
I ordered the Lechon and it was ok. It needed more seasoning and some pieces were dry. I will try the beef ribs next time and hopefully it will be better. Lechon is a difficult item to cook perfectly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The setup was a bit difficult to understand if it’s your first time. The entrance is at the back of the building .
Pedí el Lechon y estuvo bien. Necesitaba más condimento y algunos trozos estaban secos. La próxima vez probaré las costillas de ternera y espero que sean mejores. El lechon es un alimento difícil de cocinar a la perfección.

Great Authentic BBQ south of the border. Live music. Great atmosphere. Take this from someone who is very picky with food and service lol.
