Are you serious? You give me a quesabirria that isn’t grilled and has little to no meat in it. It’s equivalent to Taco Bell or from the kids menu. I haven’t been back here in over a year because the last time I came here I got food poisoning from a burrito. I suffered for 5 days straight and I had to call off work. I ran out of sick time for 3 days and stayed home unpaid which cost me $850. This was the nail in the coffin. Made me sick and this time stole my money when I came back. I’m never coming back here and this post is staying here.

Food is good! But for me that’s not it, I asked for a “quesabirria” everything looked good but they put only 1 piece and a half of radish, i literally only asked for one or 2 more slices I specifically said “just one or two slices” but they gave me a side order of that, which is cool if they would’ve not charged me but I didn’t ask for that, anyway my point is I was going to leave a 10$ tip, they charged me like 2$ of radish so at the end it rounded up to around 19.50, that’s the reason I left without tipping. Which they probably thought I wasn’t going to leave one to begin with since I was just gotten out of work and didn’t look like money…That just shows you that you can get even more money without getting too greedy over 2 slices of radish that I even left there so they can see it. But here’s your 4 stars, I’m real with every single review I leave so not bc I’m of that ima put 1 star but the service did lowered it.

Tacos were good rice was a little hard from the top Horchata was watered down.. but I would still give it another try… Taco Dinner $13 and up! The gentleman who service us was very nice and courteous…

The food is delicious! I’ve had the green enchiladas de pollo and it’s seasoned, cooked and plated nicely. The chips and salsa are really good and the frijoles charros served prior to your food arriving makes the experience better.
Just a suggestion, it would be nice if you had the news, a movie or something on the t.v. screens playing instead of the menu. I’ve dined in alone on several occasions and you can only people watch out the window for so long and dont wanna be rude and listen to the employee chisme on their downtime.
Overall, highly recommend.

Great food! Great prices! This is hands down my favorite restaurant. We visit 1-2 times a week. I always get seafood, from here. The fish tacos are the best. They recently added fajitas to their menu and they are amazing! The onions are grilled, till caramelized. Which adds amazing flavor to the bell peppers and the shrimp themselves. They sell a trio fajita plate, that has meat, chicken, and shrimp. It’s served with beans, rice, and guacamole. You get a lot of food with the fajitas. My husband like the steak tacos and lengua tacos. My daughter loves the shrimp and fish tacos. I was so glad when they opened this restaurant, I used to go to the truck on Mannheim but it’s so cold in the winter. This is a must try, if you’re in the area.

This place has great food. They started us off with a sample of “Frijoles charros” I would describe as Mexican version of chili. Amazing flavor. They give you chips and salsa as well. The price is right for the portions they give you. The food quality and taste is great. These tacos are my favorite around Melrose Park and Northlake. They also have the truck at Mannheim and grand. I asked for a taco dinner. 3 tacos, rice and beans. The place looks real clean and the staff is friendly. I would really recommend it.

I don’t like giving a bad review for local restaurants. I gave 2 stars because the young lady taking the orders was very friendly. The rice tasted burned and was a darker color. It tasted like when you burn the rice but you try to save it so you take the rice from the top. So there is a burnt taste although the rice is not burnt. The steak tacos were extremely dry and not well seasoned. I bought the tacos dinner for around $15 and end up throwing it away. Im hoping Maybe it was just a bad day for the cook idk.
